Wackiness ensues in the super comedy Super Troopers. Fox's work on this 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer is excellent save for a small amount of edge enhancement in the image. Overall, the colors, fleshtones, and black levels are all very solid and clear. The soundtrack is presented in Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround in English and French, as well as Dolby 2.0 Surround in Spanish. While the film doesn't utilize a vast array of directional effects (except in a few key scenes), the bulk of this 5.1 mix if free of any excessive hiss or distortion. Also included on this disc are English, French, and Spanish subtitles. The extra features on Super Troopers are bountiful, starting with two commentary tracks: the first by director/actor Jay Chandrasekhar and actor Erik Stolhanske and a second by actors Kevin Heffernan, Paul Soter, and Steve Lemme. Both commentaries are filled with many humorous stories, anecdotes, and thoughts about the film's production and history. A series of outtakes and deleted scenes are broken up unto four different sections and should please fans looking for more gags and jokes in the vein of the film. Finally, there is a very fluffy making-of featurette, a "Road Trip Newswrap" that follows the comedy troupe on the road, and theatrical trailers for the film.

Tony Scott's kidnapping thriller Man on Fire gets a fully loaded initial release to DVD. The image is presented in a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.40:1. The English soundtrack is rendered in DTS 5.1 and Dolby Digital 5.1. Spanish and French soundtracks have been recorded in Dolby Digital Surround. Supplemental materials include a pair of commentary tracks. Tony Scott's commentary will please fans, but critics who find his films to be socially irresponsible trash will be able to point to it for evidence of their distaste. A second commentary track with producer Lucas Foster, screenwriter Brian Helgeland, and co-star Dakota Fanning is a more light-hearted track and offers insight into how the film came together. A making-of featurette rounds out this release from 20th Century Fox.

I waited to watch this movie cause I wasnt in a rush to see it because all the bond movies I have seen I didnt really like cause of the unrealism, but this one comes highly recommended
What's great about it: Actual realism in a bond film
Probably one of the most honored epics on recent television, HBO's mini-series Band of Brothers was produced by the powerhouse team of Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg. It won the Golden Globe for Best Mini-series and is nominated for 19 Emmys. The 6-disc DVD set comes in an embossed metallic case. It has an extraordinary amount of information in addition to the 10-part true-life story of the men of Easy Company in the 506th Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division of the U.S. Army. To start with, it contains the documentary "We Stand Alone Together: The Men of Easy Company," which interviews the real men of Easy Company as they tell their stories, inner-cut with film footage and rare and archival photos. Also included is a making-of feature on the mini-series, actor Ron Livingston's video diary that shows behind-the-scenes footage from the actor's perspective, and a featurette of the screening on the beaches of Normandy. There is also an optional enhanced viewing "Field Guide," which extensively references people, places and events connected to Easy Company and their campaign through Europe and WWII as a whole. Additionally included are character bios, web-links to the Band of Brothers living memorial, as well as other pertinent sites, a still photo gallery, episodic previews and scene selection menus. The DVD is released in widescreen only with a 16:9 aspect ratio from High Definition digital masters, the audio is DTS English and 5.1 Surround as well as English, French and Spanish Dolby Surround. Spanish subtitles and English closed-captioning is also included. This is a must-own DVD set, especially for history buffs and collectors of World War II information.

What's great about it: Honor,Valor,Courage,Brotherhood,War,Adventure,Actual Events
this movie was very gross the acting was not cool and who is this noobie actor playing john conner I swear if they woulda had little eddie furlong it would made the movie 20x better cause this guy is horrible, but anywho Arnold was good, the chick cyborg was good looking and katherine brewster was decent but come on johnny boy you coulda made this excellent idea of a story into a noteworthy box office hit
What's great about it: cool chase scene
What's not so great: could of used edward furlong again
Director Keenen Ivory Wayans hit box-office gold with Scary Movie and Scary Movie 2, raucous parodies that made fun of Scream, I Know What You Did Last Summer, and a number of other horror films from that period. This two-disc set combines the discs for those movies. Each is presented in a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio. Deleted scenes and making-of featurettes appear on both discs. Those with a DVD-ROM drive can access the screenplay to the original Scary Movie. This is a solid two-pack from Disney/Buena Vista.

these 2 movies are hilarious, if you have never seen them I would recommend only buying these 2 movies as far as 3 and 4 dont waste your money
What's great about it: funny
What's not so great: it stopped being funny after 2
I just wanted to drop in and put in my 2 cents........this movie along with every other rambo movie stinks they are ridiculous in everyway......but this movie cuts the cake....hard,do not buy, skip it. skip everyone of them
you know I thought I would never say this but with this movie I was surprised at the military accuracy this movie I mean I have seen some military movies that have uniforms all jacked up and equipment that wasnt even in that era or time,battle,war,etc.....but being in the military I am surprised at the uniforms, commands, and equipment being used but thats besides the point this movie is incredible, and you really dont need to see 28 days later to understand this movie too much,if your a zombie fan this movie is for you,if your not you might enjoy it you might not but I recommend everybody watch it at least once
What's great about it: action, story, acting, zombies, open ending
this movie was alot better then what I thought it was gonna be, I was very very surprised, its good wholesome entertainment, inspired me to read the graphic comics as well, also the vampires look unique which is awesome only negative thing but I am not complaining is there could've been more gunfights
What's great about it: Survival situation
What's not so great: more gunfighting but not complaining
