6400dpi 4G Optical SensorThe all-new Razer DeathAdder has been upgraded with the world's first 6400dpi Optical Sensor. Achieve high levels of performance while retaining the feel of the optical sensor most DeathAdder users have come to love. This mouse's 4G sensor has also been optimized to work perfectly with all Razer mouse mats. Just choose from one of the preset Razer mouse mats in Synapse 2.0 to calibrate the sensor, or use the manual calibration mode if you're using a custom surface.Get 200ips and 50G acceleration even at the lowest dpi settings. So even though your mouse sensitivity is scaled down, it catches up to the physical movement of your hand across the surface for an almost 1-to-1 response between mouse and game. The all-new Razer DeathAdder's mouse sensor has no drift control, ensuring that you'll be able to make minor movements in game, especially vital for FPS gamers pulling off that perfect headshot. This is the pinnacle of gaming accuracy with an optical mouse sensor.

replaced another Logitech
on July 18, 2014

I replaced another Logitech mouse that was broken by Diablo (D2 really killed some left-clicks, but was surprised when D3 did it again as well!).
I use Logitech because I've used them for years and I like the clicky-ratchety scroll wheel. I was glad to know that Razer's wheel has the same feel (but can't be toggled to free-scroll like some Logitech models).
It's got two thumb buttons but that's it. This most recently replaced a G700 and since I don't like to install the extra mouse software, I didn't really take advantage of the extra buttons. I think one or two more strategically placed ones wouldn't have hurt though.
Anyway - the mouse is great and tracks well on my Razer ExactMat (had that for years). It's not super-fancy, but it does what it should do and hopefully continues to do so for a few years more!
My Best Buy number: 0065432907
What's great about it: simple, solid
What's not so great: could use another button
I would recommend this to a friend!

Huge space for cheap - esp. on sale!

I use it with:Cell phone
I bought this on a 1-day sale deal and it was the best deal per gig that's been seen in a long time! At full price, it's a bit on the high side, but overall it's a great card that's fast enough for videos on my HTC Rezound.
What's great about it: tons of space, SD adapter
What's not so great: not on sale all the time
I would recommend this to a friend!

hyper-real - and that's not a bad thing
on February 2, 2011

Hyper-realistic CG - and by that, I mean realistic at times, and fanciful at times, but so good it makes you want to believe that it's real.
After seeing the original Appleseed CG movie on DVD, seeing this on Blu-ray was literally an eye-opener.
Whether it was the influence from John Woo or the improvement in technology since the original, this really was a phenomenal treat for the eyes.
They weren't shooting for super-realistic CG ala James Cameron's Avatar, but more of a stylized, cel-shaded, "hyper-realistic" (should I TM it?) style that was enjoyable to watch.
John Woo inserted his tradmark white doves and slow-mo/dual-gun/exaggerated action scenes, but overall it was a great movie that got away from the extraneous explanations of the first movie and really dove into some serious action, conflicts, and love.
Highly recommended for any anime/action fans.
NOTE - the Blu-ray defaults to English audio with no subtitles. Please fix that immediately by switching to Japanese audio and whatever subtitles you prefer.
What's great about it: Hyper-realistic action

big storage, small space

I purchased this after a Simpletech 250gig failed (clicking drive, would not mount) and have been happy with it
I love the metal and rubberized surfaces which make it feel sturdy and not slippery (unlike my 160gig Simpletech which looks cool, but is slippery).
I don't use the included backup software and just use it for manual backups (sometimes w/synctoy)
so far so good!
What's great about it: size, sturdy build/materials
What's not so great: none
I would recommend this to a friend!

First Laptop what should i buy?

I'm looking for my first laptop and have been looking at toshibas but don't really know what i'm looking for in technical terms... I'm an artist and need a lot of memory to store digital portfolios and pictures on. I also surf the web, go on facebook, deviantart, and play some games ( on addicting games.com) soon i will be in college so i need lots of space for word documents too. And my budget is $500 (it's was a gift) but i would be willing to add $100 dollars more of my own money... Any thoughts on what i should buy? or key words of what i need to look for?
As a student that would want to go from class to class to home, I'd recommend something portable enough to carry without breaking your back, yet powerful (and spacious) enough to do image editing, word processing/browsing, with enough storage to hold it all. If your budget it just under $500 ($600 if you add another 100 of your own), i'd choose one of these three:

Gateway

HP

Toshiba

Each of them gives you a relatively portable 14" screen with enough memory and storage to do what you need to do day-to-day. Make no mistake, these aren't powerful enough to be true "desktop replacements", but they're more than enough for 90+% of the population at this budget.

Hope this helps!

Can both connect at the same time?

Is it possible to have my Dell desktop and a laptop, hooked up to my DSL, at the same time?

Thanks for the reply, to my first question.
yes, you will need a router. the most convenient method would be a wireless router so your laptop could be used anywhere in the house. A wired connection would be fine for your desktop
