Jean de Segonzac's follow-up to the horror film Mimic comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. The closed-captioned English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1. There are no subtitles on this release. Supplemental materials include a behind-the-scenes featurette, a look at the creation of the sound effects, and a handful of deleted scenes. This disc delivers the film, but little else to interest consumers with no interest in horror films.

Insectophobes beware! Spanish horror master Guillermo Del Toro's creepy-crawly giant-cockroach screamer buzzes on to DVD in this thrilling package courtesy of Dimension Home Video. Featuring a 1.85:1 widescreen transfer of the giant bug-a-thon, in addition to a closed-captioned English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround audio track with optional English subtitles, viewers will be squirming in their seats in terror as Mira Sorvino and Charles Dutton face off against a genetically mutated variety of killer cockroaches beneath the streets of New York City.
