Maximize space in your kitchen with this electric range. The 20" width takes up a smaller kitchen area, yet you still have 4 cooktop burners and a 2.4 cu. ft. oven for cooking family meals.

Fairly decent, but...

It's a nice stove, however, the one thing I regret is that now I do not like the bottom front of it, it is unsightly/unattractive as it is colored black, unfinished, whereas the rest of the stove is a pretty white. I wish i would have looked at the photo online more closely. As the oven comes exactly like it appears on the picture. I am in the process of looking for a front bottom face plate I can simply screw on. In fact, there is a screw on each side of the front plate indicating it is either missing a part or able to accept a plate cover. The window on the oven door is fine but not for everyone. When you are not cooking in the oven it is a dark and unattractive window, however you might be able to cover it by rigging magnets and a prettt kitchen towel over it? The clock on the right top cover is easy to adjust, it is a pretty light green color. It's not for everyone if it bothers you at night but again you can always cover it when the oven is turned off. I wish the heat on indicator light would go on when the oven part is being used,as it works only for the top burners as problably most ovens do. Please do yourself a favor and read all the labels and instructions carefully. You must remove all the tape, paper from the oven befire you begin to use it. Do not forget the stick on felt pads under the top grill. The top grill needs quite a bit of force, but be careful not to pull it all the way back too fast or you might damage the electrical cords/wiring. Unlike gas ranges, I need to learn how to remove the burners I order to clean them, since they are wired down. The delivery drivers/installer were great, gentlemen and knew there stuff. However, please have your own gloves for them, those simple brown work gloves will suffice and ask that they use them when touching the stove dials, because the stove is east to clean being metal, but not the dials nor the oven light on/off button. All the dials collect dirt and it is hard to remove dirt as they are made of grooved plastic and the workers hands will be quite dirty from hauling your old stove away. Or else you will regret it as the dirt is nearly impossible to remove. After severals days of continous cleaning I am now thinking of using harsher chemicals such as those used to clean bath tile. Second, you must rember to tell the workers if you ordered an electric range so that they can connect it for you, or else if they think it is a gas range they might get confused. As always, test the oven, by turning it on and off before the workers go. I suggest always get a brand new power cord to come with your appliance, it adds safety, compatability, pieace of mind which is invaluable. I once bought a Hotpoint electric range which is a different brand and from a different store. As soon as the warranty expired, the oven broke in that it would never turn off after an hour of playing with the simple buttons, finally it turned off before by home was in possible danger and I never turned it on again and thus I bought this beautiful new overn. I would have given this new oven 6 stars as it is almost perfect except for the bottom face plate lacking. Still, now I can enjoy safe cooking.
What's great about it: Back top cover protects walls from splatters
What's not so great: Bottom front black space is unattractive, look closely @ the bottom
I would recommend this to a friend!
