Comedy lives in the sequel Weekend at Bernie's II starring everyone's favorite dead stiff. Unfortunately, Columbia has put minimal effort into this 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer. Dirt and grain abound in certain scenes, and a bit of edge enhancement shows up in a few spots during the film. Overall the tropical colors and black levels are even and bright. Also included on side B is a 1.33:1 full frame version of the film. The audio is presented in Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround and works well in the confines of the film. Directional sounds are not utilized, but since this is a Comedy and not an effects-heavy film, that suits the disc just fine. All aspects of the dialogue, effects, and bouncy island music are clear of any distortion. Also included on this disc are English and Spanish subtitles. Fans of this film will be disappointed to know that the only extra features available on this disc include theatrical trailers for the movies Weekend at Bernie's II, Groundhog Day, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and Cops & Robbersons. Apparently, Columbia feels this is a fitting end to a funny series -- though the fans may wholeheartedly disagree.

This movie is very funny, but not quite as good as the first one. but then again sequals usually aren't as good as the first movie, however my Dad likes this movies better than the first one. The point is that they are both good, and priced well.
What's great about it: Full Screen and Wide Screen option
This movie is so funny! My boyfriend loves this movie and he was so happy when I got it on DVD. This is a classic 1980's comedy and would be worth buying at such a good price!
Romantic comedies on DVD are often cash cows for studios, and with the all the enjoyable extras milked into Touchstone Home Entertainment's Sweet Home Alabama, this is one disc sure to rise to the top. Starring Reese Witherspoon, Patrick Dempsey, and Candice Bergen, Sweet Home Alabama is a charming film about a self-made New York designer who must rendezvous with her Southern roots before her new life can flourish. The movie, presented in anamorphic video, is shown in 2.35:1 widescreen with crisp colors and clear projection. The Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound is decent, especially during the conversations and Civil War "battle" scenes. Not much in terms of groundbreaking surround sound, but this is a romantic comedy, not an apocalyptic war adventure. A French language track is also available. In terms of extras, Touchstone included those viewer-friendly options that many fans of this genre will enjoy. There's a SHeDAISY music video and 12 chapter selections. The director's screen-specific audio commentary is worth a watch, especially since Andy Tennant uses this platform to really discuss his passion for this film as well as what funny things happened during the shoot. The anecdotes alone are worth listening to. But by far, the best extra on the disc is "Off the Cutting Room Floor," a collection of eight deleted scenes with an introduction by Tennant. To top that off is the always-popular alternate ending feature, with commentary.

This is such a good movie! I bought this DVD for my Mom for her birthday and she was thirlled with it. It is much better on DVD than on TV because there is a lot missing from the one on TV. This would be a great " date move"! If you are thinking about getting it, go ahead...you will NOT be sorry!
CD is good quality for the price, the price is so cheap I think because it is in one of the eco-friendly packages (wich is just cardboard) so the case doesn't provide that great of protection to the CD, but other than that it is a great price. GOOD BUY.
This package contains a wealth of information about rock band Def Leppard. In addition to a documentary about the band's career, the disc comes packed with videos and live performances. The DVD offers a standard full-frame transfer that preserves the original broadcast aspect ratio of the videos. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Stereo. English, Brazilian, Portuguese, and Spanish subtitles are accessible. Interviews with the band members and a discography round out this release. Songs performed on the disc include "Pour Some Sugar on Me," "Rock of Ages," "Armageddon It," and over a dozen others.

This DVD is very good and features all the videos that the band made with Vivian Campbell after the untimely death of band mate and friend Steve Clark. It also features the video for "Rocket" (the last video made with Steve before his death) and a tribute to Steve's life and love of music as well. also has lots of interviews with the band members and concert footage filmed in 1993. If you are intrested in owning nearly all the bands videos I would recommend buying this DVD as well as "HISTORIA/IN THE ROUND IN YOUR FACE" both are awsome.

This is the overall best DVD compilation that Def Leppard had released. The concert footage is UNBELIVEABLE!!! It is so good that you would believe that you are really there at the concert. The music videos are great as well and they include very intresting information before the videos. If you are thinking of buying this DVD do NOT wait, it is AMAZING and you will NOT be sorry that you made this purchase for your collection!!! Happy Leppard hunting!
This movie is a very good biographical look at the band trough their early days when they got their start and all the hard work they endured to become so huge. The DVD is very good quality and has a clear picture that is great. Definetly worth buying.
Def Leppard is my favorite band and I am definatly a diehard fan, this album explains perfectly why this band is so awsome. This is one of my most played CD's in my collection, it's great. The Deluxe edition gives you more songs that the original album does and the remixes on disc 2 are awsome! Buy it...You will be glad you did!!!
I am a total Def Leppard fanatic, so I was trilled with the release of a new album! If you are scared to buy this album because Leppard was famous for their old stuff don't be, it is totally great!!! The only thing that could have made this album better is if Steve Clark were still alive and played on the album with them in their original fourm. I would have liked "Nine Lives" Better with just the Leppard boys and no McGraw though. If you are thinking about this album...BUY IT! You won't be sorry you did! It's great.
From all true Def Leppard fans, Steve Clark we love and miss you greatly!!! R.I.P. buddy...ROCK ON STEVE!
