The movie was well written. Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman are great pair for this movie. Not too sarcastic but not too funny. In so many words it shows you how you cant have everything and be happy. But nor can you have a family and have everything you want without be some what disfunctional.
(Jack Nicholson) A man who had everything didn't at all. he had no family. mainly because there was an issue between him and his daughter. He owned alot of hospitals.it was more low ranked then anything other. Although it was ranked that way (Jacks) Charecter still tryed to fight the hospitals policy. as he puts it :: ( He owns hospitals not health spas.)(two bedrooms to a room no exceptions)::
(Morgan Freeman) a man who was a struggling mechanic and a middle class family but always dreamed of things he wanted to do.HIs wife was very over protective of him and not an easy person to please. Even with the best of care he was getting after (Jack) helped him.
Two totaly different class of people (middle class and upper class) who are dying at the same time but end up in the end being eachothers friends.
The moral saying in this movie would be : it doesnt matter how much money you have but if you don't have family your life isn't complete. everyone needs someone to talk too or lean on in rough times. Like the saying goes:: ( not everyone likes to be alone)
What's great about it: it shows how time is precious
it's a horrible movie. It sets a bad example for teenagers. I think teenagers should not take Pregnancy too lightly. Its a life long commitment. If you know the consequences and it happens take the full responability. It seems the teenager in this movie was irresponsible and did not take the full responsibility.Instead she adopted the kid out.In so many words it made it look like you can adopt your problems out. I think it sets bad morals for teenagers.
If my kids ever had that happen to them they would be kicked out and made full responsible for what choice they made.
