The best thing about Rambo is, well, Rambo. Anyone who has ever seen Rambos 1-3 can appreciate this hero. Sly is Rambo, Rambo is Sly. From the opening scene to the final walk down the driveway, Sly delivers the perfect acting.
The video was crisp and the sound with 7.1 DTS HD was just awesome. The video quality was exceptional and the sound was crisp. I really felt like I was in the jungle with Rambo. Technically, the movie is a masterpiece.
The story was superb. It's everything you'd ever expect from Rambo 2008. The movie closes the loop on our hero Rambo and gives him proper ending. The acting was superb and the cast was spectacular! I am going to watch it over and over and over again.
In summary, the movie was realistic and Sly delivers his best Rambo performance ever. A true masterpiece. The movie brought back so many memories that I had to purchase the Blu-ray set of the first three and watch the series in sequence! Good times, good times...buy Rambo as you will not be sorry...action packed and story is rich!
What's great about it: The perfect video, the perfect audio, and the perfect Hero
What's not so great: NA

The most patriotic movie ever made

Bestbuy finally had this Blu-ray on sale again as part of 2 for $30. I had to pick it up as I had never seen the movie but had heard good things about the movie. It's a catalog title and I was expecting to watch the movie on my PS3 for movie content...but was I delightfully surprised about the picture quality! The movie picture quality rivals Casino Royale and Narnia. While there isn't vibrant colors and fancy computer generated graphics etc, the scenes are crisp and highly detailed.
Now about the movie itself...I cried harder than I had ever cried watching any movie. There is a scene when Mel Gibson's character is going off for the final battle and one of his daughters who, through trauma of losing her mother, had decided not to speak as part of her grieving process. Oh my goodness...I was overwhelmed...the movie reminded me why this country is so great...why we must never take our freedom for granted...why we live in the greatest nation in the world...why we will overcome any and all low points together as a unified nation...because we walk with the hearts and conviction of all men and women who fought to give every one of us the right to pursue happiness.
What's great about it: Emotion, replay value, acting/action, PQ and AQ
What's not so great: The ones that take their freedom for granted

Narnia=Best Blu-ray

Narnia is the most beautiful movie ever made on Blu-ray. The picture quality is better than theater on my 4071FX with 1000HD with 120 hz turned low and on Game Mode. The war camp scene is breathtaking as are the battle scenes. I love all of my 50+ Blu-rays and this one is in the top 2...along with Casino Royale as far as movie content+PQ+AQ are concerned.
Buy it as you will not regret it and enjoy this great movie for years to come as Blu-ray discs are indestructible!!!

Troy BD is big as the name Achilles

The movie contains some eye candy video footage throughout the movie. The video quality is better than theater. The sound is so pure, you'd swear the actors were in your living room.
The extra 30 minutes of never before scene footage was a total bonus.
The movie had come on HD movie channel recently but BD is so much better in PQ/AQ.
The best way to view such a great movie is 50" Plasma with PS3 BD player using HDMI cable. Simple yet brilliant.

I love this controller. It is heavier than the regular sixaxis so it feels more substantial in your hands. The buttons feel more substantial as well.
When playing Gran Turismo, every contact is felt on the controller. The best part is the intensity of the rumbles. If the car just grazes another car or the curb, the rumble is ever so detectable. If you hit the wall or another car going 130 mph, the rumble is enough to make you wake up!
I love PS3 and everything associated with PS3.
I highly recommend Dualshock 3.
