LetsGoRangers's Reviews

Originally aired from 1989-1990 on NBC, the complete first two seasons of Saved by the Bell come to DVD in this five-disc box set from Lion's Gate with a full-frame transfer. Audio is offered in Dolby Digital Stereo with optional closed captions. There is not one single extra feature on this disc, but somehow that just seems right. This box set is good for a dose of '80s nostalgia, but those who don't have fond memories of the show aren't likely to develop any.

Must Have For A Fan

First off I would like to point out that when I purchased seasons 1-4 they did not have an outer box (case-shell whatever you wanna call) it to protect the inside dvd sleeve flaps. Only season 5 came that way. I found that to be extremely 'cheap'! All of my other tv series' on dvd came like that. I don't understand why they would slip in that area? I have to put my dvd's close together on the shelf to hold them shut as best as i can get 'em. It also does not include the disc contents mini information sheet or any bonus features what so ever as well as no chapter stops which could be a pain. They could of put alittle more effort into constructing this box set. They get an 'F' in my book. This is a classic & it deserves the full VIP treatment. As for the tv show itself I dont think I need to explain why you should go out & buy it :)
What's great about it: Just finally great to own every episode on dvd
What's not so great: No Extras (bonus features) & No Chapter Stops
I would recommend this to a friend!

This box set is very convenient & easy to store anywhere in your house. No more worries about where you left one of the discs last time you watched it, or having to put all of the cases in a lousy plastic bag next time your friends want you to come over there place to have a ''Freddy Night''. Great design and graphics. Even though I already own this classic masterpiece series on individual dvd's, I felt that it wouldn't be right to pass this up. Comes with 3-D glasses for one of the movies made specially for 3-D viewing & a bonus disc for the computer loaded with extras. Any freddy fanatic has absolutely no excuse in the world not to have this in their place! In fact, anybody have popcorn :)
What's great about it: All Movies Are Together In One Special Collectors Edition Box Set
What's not so great: Nothing To Report
I would recommend this to a friend!
