One of the best soul CDs.

There are only about one or two CDs in my collection that I can listen to from first song to last, and 'The Way I Feel' is one of them. This album has rhythm, soul, style, and originality. Only a couple of tracks made it to the radio, but that's a good thing because this CD didn't get overplayed.
The first track (also the title track), starts the CD out with a wonderful musical intro, and it just gets better from there.
This is a CD that you can pretty much do anything to. But you will definitely be bobbin your head to the rhythm of each song. If you're a fan of Robin Thicke or Maxwell, I'd definitely pick this one up.
What's great about it: Just about everything.
What's not so great: No follow-ups from Remy as of yet.

Learn more about MLB 07: The Show. (Flash demo) You step back into the batter's box and take a deep breath, clutching the bat in your sweaty hands. You're up to bat for the first time in the Big Leagues, and you're in a full count. The man glaring at you from the mound is someone whose baseball cards you used to trade; now, he's channeling his signature 98-mph fastball directly at you. The next pitch could determine whether you'll be taking a plane to Boston or riding a bus to Toledo. The pitcher winds up and launches one low and away. Will you belt it over the centerfield wall, or will you and your dreams go down swinging?MLB 07 steps up its game with the innovative Road to The Show career mode that lets you fast-forward and play from the player's perspective for every at-bat and defensive play as you rise through the ranks and into the Big Leagues. Adaptive Pitching Intelligence (API) allows you to shake off the catcher or to trust that the calls he makes are based on batter tendencies and your strengths as a pitcher. Online League Play lets you construct leagues with up to 30 teams, complete with stats tracking, point benefits and full customization.

Recommendable baseball game

Overall, this is a wonderful baseball game. I was looking for an at-least halfway decent baseball game for the PS2. Picking out this game, I got more than I expected.
Pros: First, I love the overall 'feel' of the gameplay. The details of the sights and sounds make it feel like you're really at a baseball game in your hometown. At the K in KC, the announcers make references to I-70 HWY and you can see the FCA building the background. When you pause the game to grab a snack or get the phone...or whatever you do when you pause the game...the announcer will belt out an occasional announcement. I also love the variety of different game modes. There's franchise (my favorite), career, road to the show, etc, that will keep you playing for a long time. And I tip my hat to the graphics...the players actually look like themselves.
Cons: There aren't a lot, but there are some. First, controlling multiple baserunners is a little difficult. If I can't send them all, I don't send any. I'm still working at getting ths down, but it is tricky. I recommend classic baserunning. Second, the fielding controls can tend to get a bit irritating. For example, a batter will pop a ball up behind first, and the shortstop is automatically selected to catch it. I'm unsure why the closest fielder isn't selected. It's not a big deal if it's a high pop up, because you can switch your players if you need to. However, with a short pop up or an infield ball, you have to get your player over fast, and they don't always make it.
But I won't complain, I'm glad I got the game, and the benefits definitely outweigh the cons.
What's great about it: different game modes, franchise controls, graphics.
What's not so great: baserunning, some fielding glitches

Barry Levinson's Academy Award-winning comedy drama about a callow young man who learns a great deal during a road trip with his autistic brother gets a top-flight presentation for this special-edition DVD release. Rain Man has been given a letterboxed transfer to disc in the widescreen aspect ratio of 1.85:1, which has also been enhanced for anamorphic playback on 16 x 9 monitors. The original English soundtrack has been remixed for playback in Dolby Digital 5.1, while a dubbed French version appears in Dolby Digital Surround and a Spanish track is in Dolby Digital Mono. The feature also includes optional subtitles in English, French, and Spanish. Headlining the list of bonus materials are no fewer than three commentary tracks from director Barry Levinson and screenwriters Ronald Bass and Barry Morrow. Also included is a deleted scene, a short feature on the making of Rain Man, a gallery of still photos, and the original theatrical trailer.

This is one of those movies that you can't help but to watch when it's on. It's a phenominal movie. It's got just about everything in it, and the best part is that it doesn't try to be a great movie, it just is. It pulls you in from the beginning, and there's a great redemption.
What's great about it: One of history's classic movies.

I ended up getting this CD after hearing 'The Pot' on the radio, and I'm glad that I got it. Everything about this CD is wonderful - the lyrics, emotion, and especially the music. You can tell they put all their energy into their music. This was my first Tool CD, but I'm definitely going to get others.
What's great about it: Music is wonderful.
