Great watch for the beginning and seasoned athlete

TL;DR - Solid watch, athletically focused, great features, good accuracy on GPS, rugged
I'm an Obstacle Racing Athlete. I train six days a week, and I run courses from 4-30+ miles with anywhere from 20-100+ obstacles in the course. This is one of the few products that is robust enough to survive several of those type of races, and easy/comfortable enough to wear as a daily driver. So far, I have taken mine though the Spartan Ultimate Team Competition, and seven more standard Spartan Races and a Conquer the Gauntlet, with no problems.
The basic features of the watch can take care of the majority of people looking for a basic daily activity tracker. Pedometer for step count, basic sleep time tracking, estimated miles walked, active time and calories burned both for the day and week.
When you get into athletics, this is where the watch really stands out from it's brethren in this price range. It has a built in HRM (Heart Rate Monitor) that, while not as accurate as a chest strap, does a very good job, provided you strap the watch snug about two inches above your wrist. Don't have it loose and bouncy otherwise any watch like this can't record properly. There is an option for a strap if you'd like that added accuracy you can buy from TomTom direct. Another accessory you can buy direct if cor cyclists. There is a bike package to measure your power output. Buy the kit and install yourself for that data.
This watch is also waterproof. I've taken it through many swims in Spartan Races and other OCR series with no problems. My Girlfriend has hers in SALT WATER for about 2-3 hours a day, five days a week... with no problems. She's had hers for about seven months now.
The GPS is accurate; I'd rate it a solid 7/10. I have a Suunto Ambit 2 that I set for 1 second pings for the most a accurate recording possible. On a six mile trail run, it was off by about 0.15mi. That's a pretty good margin of error. I'm thinking this watch uses 5ish second pings.
Battery life is not bad either. I'm able to go about 3-4 days worth of training before I need to change the battery. Keep in mind, my training sessions are about 2 hours, so, your mileage may vary.
Finally, the Bluetooth. It's great this watch has 3GB of storage for music. Pop on a bunch a sings via the application when plugged into your computer, then sync your headphone, and get to it.

Great controller

I'm not having any issues with this controller. Been using it for a couple games so far with no problems. The feel of the controller and placement of buttons is very comfortable. When holding the controller, it feels solid and enough weight for you to grip it properly while not being too heavy to seem like a burden. I really wish this had analog triggers for racing games as that will give a much better throttle response, but that's a minor gripe for me since I don't play them often at all.
What's great about it: Good weight, not too hefty, not too light. Long battery, "feel" is good
What's not so great: A little long on the charge. No analog triggers.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good, but it has some issues.
By Ricckku
Overall the product does what it has been advertised to do. no complaints in what regards to noise cancellation or sound quality. Problem that I've seen is related to the bluetooth drivers that somehow are not fully compatible with the iMac late 2013. When the iMac comes online after being slept, something will happen with the bluetooth driver that disrupts not the connection not only in my bose quierconfirm 35 but also on my trackpad and wirelss mouse. I wrote a couple of emails to Bose support with absolutely no answer. Hmmm, makes me wonder what type of customer support they have. This is my first Bose product and I can say I'm not fully satisfied for a product that costs $350.00 dollars.

This has to do with your computer not handling the Bluetooth devices properly, not the headphones. Try to get a Bluetooth driver update for your computer. I haven't had an issue with either sets of Bose Bluetooth headsets I've purchased on any phone or computer so far: four different windows computer, two Android phones and an iPhone 6.

Is the product sweat proof and usable for exercising?

I went through two of the SoundSport wireless earbuds. Those were meant for working out, and they each died on the first day I worked out with them because of sweat getting into the control buttons. I wouldn't recommend it.

Can you watch movies on a airplane with these?

From your own device, yes. If you are trying to watch what the plane is showing, you'll need to use the included 3.5mm cable to plug into the arm rest on the plane. Another adapter may be needed depending on the plane you are in at that time.
