A lot of people think right off that this is a "girly" movie. However, if they would take the time to sit down and actually watch it, it would touch your heart. Sure it's about a hooker, but that is not the main point. You also have Richard Gere who is incapable of love. A man who lost his way, and it took a special person, Julia Roberts to remind him just exactly how beautiful life really is. Julia is equivalent to an innocent child who sees black and white. There is no such thing as gray areas. Together they pave the way to overcome pretenses and remember what it was to be alive but most importantly what life is truly all about.
