A+++++++
What's great about it: Lovely animation, story line, charaters, voices, exciting and awesome soundtrack
Upon buying this DVD it had a blue sleeve over it so i didnt know what to expect since i couldnt acsess the information on the back of the DVD. Ive been a hardcore Ghost in the Shell fan for many years now. but this dvd was a real dissapointment. Thinking it was going to be more back story about the Laughing man, but this movie is mostly just clips from the first season of Stand Alone Complex, and they changed all the charaters voices.
it wouldnt of bothered me so much if they even attempted to make the voices fit the charater, but for instance they made Batou British. whats up with that? it didnt seem like anyone except the Tachikomas had their original voice.
there was missing dialogue and it jumps around a lot to cover just the parts spoken about the laughing man himself (who was also played by a deeper voiced actor, being a boy is in his teens, or 20's, he had a 30-40 year old voice actor).
its good because its Ghost in the shell... but i didnt very much like anything else about it.
What's great about it: Its Ghost in the shell, great animation and story plot
What's not so great: Charaters didnt have the same voices as the first season and not the same dialogue
