Fun Game

Overall it's a fun, and semi addictive game. It has some decent replayability, due to the many options in dialog, character choices, and the option to be either a goody two shoes, or just plain evil, or somewhere in between.
There are setting choices ranging from easy to nightmare. I found easy to be just that. There are certain things you can do with tactics and party member choices that will darn near automate the entire thing for you, but the biggest difference on 'easy' mode is that while you can still make many tactical choices for your team, you don't have to account for 'friendly fire' from any of your group. Otherwise, your magic users can blow themselves, or the rest of your party to smithereens while taking out the enemy, and it can get a bit ugly. Jumping to normal or higher difficulty puts an entirely new spin on things and draws in some serious amount of tactical thinking. The nice thing, is if you find the game too easy or too hard, you can change difficulty mid game, no having to restart!
The only thing I really didn't like, mostly while replaying the game, is that the very large amount of dialog eventually gets very very annoying. It's worth listening to on the first playthrough, but after that, I just hammered my escape key a lot of the time to bypass the chatter.
Length of the game is also decent, I think my first playthrough took me about 75 hours or so, maybe a tad more, but I'm pretty hardcore, so an average player may be closer to 100 or so hours. If you escape through the dialog on replays, you will about half your time playing, as you know the basics of where to go and who to talk to already.
What's great about it: Nice storyline, attractive graphics, sound, some replayability, decent humor.
What's not so great: After a while you can get sick of all the talking.
I would recommend this to a friend!
