New age hip hop

I dig Wale especially after hearing his single "Pretty Girls" on XM satellite. He has some true songs on there with real issues with a little twist to it. Great songs and calloborations with great singers such as Melanie Fiona, Lady Gaga, and Jasmine Sullivan.
What's great about it: Real hip hop style with the mixture of DC gogo/true album
What's not so great: Can't complain

Realist at its finest

I'm disappointed that all the CDs that came in the mail, this one was damaged. I was highly anticipating this one for a while now. I like his style, lyrics, and integrity (what he stands for in the game) ever since I seen him on youtube (You should all get lynched). He is similar to Immortal Technique, another one of my favorites.
What's great about it: Speaks the truth about real, important issues
What's not so great: It was damaged through the mail, so I didnt get a chance to sync all my songs

One of the best hip hop albums of 2009

This is a good album. I like it very much. Probably one of the best in 09. KRS-One and Buckshot bringing their old school experience, knowledge, maturity to the game. It shows the true essence of hip hop.
What's great about it: Old school artists with new hip hop artists
What's not so great: Can't complain about this one
I would recommend this to a friend!

Typical Mos Def album, but dig it

First, I was surprised he came out with one. I'm glad he did because it has been awhile. I expected more lyricism from this album though. What can you say, it is Mos Def. I cant really complain, it is still growing on me. Go get it, all hip hop albums is a must.
What's great about it: Another hip hop album desperately needed
What's not so great: Can't really complain, what do you expect from the Mos
I would recommend this to a friend!
