The 1995 family-oriented comedy Man of the House comes to DVD in a full-screen edition from Disney. The Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround soundtrack is in English. Stereo soundtracks are available in Spanish and French. English closed captions are accessible. The only special feature is a promo for other family-oriented titles available on DVD from Disney.

Experience the magic as boy and dog take the world of basketball by storm in this release of the beloved Disney classic, Air Bud. Presented in standard 1.33:1 full-screen pan-and-scan and offering a closed-captioned English Dolby Digital Stereo soundtrack, this disc also offers an original theatrical trailer.

The second season of Leave It To Beaver has arrived on DVD in decidedly less handsome condition than its predecessor. For reasons best understood by Universal or their telecine operators, there is far more grain in evidence in the full-screen (1.33-to-1) image in most of the episodes of Season Two of the series, than was ever seen in the Season One shows. It serves to make this package a little disappointing visually, though the merits of the scripts, acting, direction etc. still make this an enjoyable viewing experience overall -- just not everything it ought to be. The sound is strong, and each episode gets four chapters, corresponding with the breaks for credits and commercials; and the menu has been simplified from the prior volume, with smoother transitions from show-to-show and no trivia panels to interrupt the transitions. There are no bonus features in this package.

Emilio Estevez returns to coach an underdog youth hockey team in D2: The Mighty Ducks, which comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1. There are no subtitles, but the soundtrack is closed-captioned. This Disney/Buena Vista release does a fabulous job presenting the movie, which is a good thing considering there are no supplemental materials of any consequence.

In the tradition of such hilarious underdog sports comedies as The Bad News Bears and The Big Green comes this winning comedy for the whole family, presented on DVD courtesy of Disney Home Video. Presented in the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1, the disc also features a selection of closed-captioned English Dolby Digital 5.1, Spanish Dolby Digital Surround, or French Dolby Digital Surround audio tracks. Cheer on the Mighty Ducks as they rise through the ranks to the final and all-important championship game in this humorous and exciting DVD release.
