Possibly one of his worst.

Joe Satriani is very awesome although this is his weakest album of my favorites so far. I never should have been told that the album title was called "Strange beautiful music" that's what it is. The best songs on this are Oriental Melody and Belly Dancer which still are not even come close to my favorite instrumental "Orion". Joe's done a lot better than this! For better Satriani, get his self-titled, Surfing With the Alien, Is There love in Space, Super Colossal, Crystal Planet, and Flying in a Blue Dream.

I love Jimi Hendrix and this is one of his best. I was sorry that he died so young because he was too talented to die. This has some awesome songs like Voodoo Chile, Rainy Day, All Along the Watchtower, Voodoo Child. Anyways awesome!

Jimi Hendrix is an awesome guitarist and he is one of my favorite guitarists besides Kirk Hammett and Joe Satriani. I was so sorry that he died many years ago, he shouldnt have taken drugs and smoke them cigarettes. This is his best compilation and my favorites are the all time classics Purple Haize, All Along the Watchtower, Voodoo Child, The Wind Cries Mary, Fire, and Foxey Lady. Highly recommended compilation.

Everybody loves Sultans of Swing which is a Dire Straits all time classic. This was their very first LP and is a classic. I like most of the songs here, but Sultans is my favorite!

Great but heavily overrated

Most people think that this is Dire Straits' best album. I completely disagree. On Every Street and Love Over Gold were much better. But this is still a classic and has one of the greatest songs ever, "Money For Nothing" which is my 2nd favorite Dire Straits song of all-time. So Far Away is an excellent song too, brilliant lyrics and the first song on this cd. Walk of Life is pretty good, it's another famous song. But Brothers in Arms is sad. But for the true fan of Mark Knopfler this is a own.

I was always a fan of Dire Straits and this is one of their best albums. This is their most under rated and Heavy Fuel was always my favorite Dire Straits song. The record opens with one of the other greats Calling Elvis.
Most of the songs here are excellent. And i love that amazing cover too, an excellent album for the fan of Dire Straits.

Dire Straits' Epic

I think that this and On Every Street were Dire Straits' finest hour. Telegraph Road, Industrial Disease, and It Never Rains are excellent songs. The slow songs like Private Investigations and Love over Gold are ok but not my favorites. This record is amazing! Too bad that they can't follow this with their sellout album Brothers in Arms and their most best disc On Every Street. Anyways amazing! Buy it.

Satriani's classic

Surfing with the Alien is one of my favorite albums from him. This is some of his best guitar playing on this album, and is the only one that I have on vinyl LP from Joe Satriani. This features such classics like Surfing with the Alien, Ice 9, Crushing Day, Satch Boogie, Circles, and Lords of Karma. The song that I always skip on the CD is Always with me, Always with you .. i don't like that song, that is so sad for me. But other than that the rest of the songs are great and this is one GREAT album.

Satriani's Epic

Is There Love In Space is one of Joe Satriani's best, especially since he did "Searching" one of my favorite songs by him, and i think that it is one of his greatest songs certainly because of the length. I like the title track, track 6, and track 7 like others. I don't like the fact that this CD has vocals on it, I always hate it when there are vocals on a Joe Satriani cd, thankfully he dosen't scream since I really detest screaming. But for a true fan like me, you gotta own this!

One of my favorite jazz albums

B***** Brew is one of the several excellent albums from Miles Davis along with Kind of Blue, In a Silent Way, Sketches of Spain, and Round About Midnight. This 2 disc set has some of the longest songs i've ever heard like the first disc both songs over 20-25 minutes bringing up to 47 minutes. The album also is a great journey, close your eyes let the album take ya on a journey.
