Great Brit Punk Invasion
on February 11, 2008

from Luck, WI
I took a chance on this album based on songs heard on the internet. Little Man Tate has that great sound that is coming out of the UK these days along with the View, Fratelli, Babyshambles, and the Kooks to name a few. I don't understand why the US is trying to withstand this British invasion.
The songs have clever lyrics without getting overly deep. It makes the songs fun for young and old listeners. This album has a sound more similar to the Kooks or the View but distinctive enough to be their own. A couple of songs just about border on the typical boring rock but they keep enough "fun" in them to stay enjoyable.
What's great about it: Very upbeat and tuneful.
What's not so great: Still can't compete with the Libertines
I would recommend this to a friend!
