The complete 22-episode first season of the award-winning drama The West Wing is compiled in this special box set, which treats the material with care and respect. All the episodes have been transferred to disc in the original full-frame aspect ratio of 1.33:1 and the audio is mastered in Dolby Digital Surround. The dialogue is in English with optional subtitles in English, French, and Spanish. Bonus material includes commentary tracks featuring members of the cast and creative team; two documentaries on the production of the series; a behind-the-scenes look at how an episode is produced; outtakes, bloopers, and unseen footage; and interviews with the cast and crew.

Excellent beginning to a memorable series!

The first season introduces the characters and settings of the entire series. The writing is good in the early episodes, and by the end of the season, it is superb. The West Wing is a smart and witty insider's look at the quick-paced lives of those who work in a hypothetical White House. This season is a must-buy for anyone looking for a TV program that will keep you on the edge of your seat with its riveting discourse.

All 22 episodes from the second season of the Emmy-winning drama The West Wing are collected on this four-disc set. Each episode is presented in its original broadcast aspect ratio. The closed-captioned English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Stereo. English, Spanish, and French subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include commentary tracks from various cast and crew members on four of the episodes, a documentary about the cast members attending the annual correspondent's diner, a pair of featurettes, and a blooper reel. This is a solid release that maintains the quality established by the first-season set released the year before.

Best West Wing Season!

The second season is the season that hooked me on West Wing. Following the suspenseful shooting that ended the first season, the second season delivers a smartly-written and dramatic picture of politics behind the doors of the White House. I have seen this season at least 5 times, if not more, and I am currently watching through it again. Some of the writing of later seasons lacks the humor, wit, and suspense that the second season does so well! If you have not seen The West Wing: Season 2, you are seriously missing out!

Great Game!

Cooking mama is a lot of fun, but the controls don't always pick up correctly. Sometimes stirring or slicing does not work properly. I have not had the same problems with other games. Some of the controls are very sensitive (cracking an egg, for example); however, it can get frustrating when the Wii does not read your cooking motions. Overall, it is an awesome game, and it is a ton of fun to play with a friend. I would recommend this game, especially since the price went down recently.
What's great about it: Fun to play with a friend
What's not so great: Controls not always accurate
I would recommend this to a friend!
