Jean-Jacques Annaud's nature film gets a superb DVD release from Columbia/TriStar. The disc contains two images, a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.35:1 and a standard full-frame 1.33:1 picture. Closed-captioned English soundtracks are rendered in both Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby Digital Surround, while Spanish and French soundtracks have been recorded in Dolby Digital Stereo. Subtitles are accessible in all three of these languages as well. Supplemental materials include behind-the-scenes footage, a "making of" featurette, talent files, production notes, and bonus theatrical trailers. Animal lovers will certainly want to give this gorgeous disc a look.

Good movie.

This is a real good movie that I saw when I was younger. A movie about some hunters out to hunt bears and such. A young cub is the center of this movie and has some very cute moments. Some sad moments as well but overall this movie is worth getting especially at this price.

A good event.

This was a good PPV with some good matches. The CM Punk vs Kane match was good as was the I Quit match with the Hardy brothers versus each other. A very well done last man standing match with John Cena and Edge. The 6 man match was pretty good as well. The kiss cam with Santina Marella was funny and well done and led to an impromptu "match".

This is a great collection of Hulk's matches. The biggest collection available of the Hulk's best matches.

Follow the remarkable lifespan of a wrestling organization that changed the face of sports entertainment in this hard-hitting documentary featuring such formidable brawlers as Sabu, Bam Bam Bigelow, and Rey Mysterio Jr. It was during ECW's remarkable run in the 1990s that wrestling fans truly began to realize the extremes that these remarkable athletes would go to in order to win over an audience, and as the stakes grew increasingly high the action in the ring became ever more outrageous. If the WWF had an edge in terms of brand name recognition, the ECW did virtually everything imaginable to gain an edge over the competition - and though when all was said and done it may not have been quite enough, it was certainly a hell of a fun ride getting there.

ECW wrestling at it's best and worst.

This is a great DVD collection about the original ECW brand. This is before WWE's watered down version when weapons and blood were the norm. A great DVD showing what worked and didn't work during the days of ECW. This is a must have for any wrestling fan as it has former WCW wrestlers and some current WWE wrestlers.

Since the inception of the Total Nonstop Wrestling organization, the name A.J. Styles has become synonymous with hard-hitting brawls and ground-shaking match-ups. In this two-disc set featuring twelve of Styles' most memorable matches in their entirety, wrestling fans can see why Styles has become one of the most formidable fighters in modern wrestling.

Greatest WWE Diva

This WWE collection features Trish Stratus. One of the most popular WWE Divas ever. This is a great collection featuring stories and matches of the Diva great. Since she has retired from wrestling this is the only place to get her wrestling besides other WWE PPVs and the occasional one time only appearances.

This is WWE's annual big event. They still did the event big but not as big as it should have been for 25th anniversary. Some matches were too predictable which is what WWE has been as of late. I would still recommend this because it is a huge event and a part of history. A great Undertaker vs HBK match with 5 stars.

The winning Disney film Lilo & Stitch comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.66:1. An English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1, while Spanish and French soundtracks have been recorded in Dolby Digital Stereo. There are neither subtitles nor closed-captions on this release. Supplemental materials include deleted scenes, music videos, documentaries about Hawaii and the Hula dance, and an entertaining section in which Stitch appears in a handful of Disney classics. A build your own alien interactive games rounds out this fine package from Disney/Buena Vista that will appeal to both children and adults.

This is a terrific movie. Disney has a way with characters and it's no different with Lilo and Stitch. This is the first of a few movies they made with the two characters and also a tv show with them. I loved this movie when it first came out and still do.

A strange disappearance leaves a young boy with vast knowledge of the universe in Disney DVD's release of the children's sci-fi classic Flight of the Navigator. Presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen and offering audio in English Dolby Digital Surround, this release also offers optional French and Spanish subtitles. Unfortunately, this disc does not include any bonus features whatsoever.

This is a great movie that I remember watching with my Grandmother when I was younger. We both loved watching this movie. Even as I watch it some 10 years or so later I still love this movie and it's still one of my favorites. I highly recommend this movie.

Back in the 1980s, in the wake of such productions as Conan the Barbarian, fantasy films reigned supreme. Krull, Legend, The Beastmaster, Labyrinth, all of the countless Italian-made rip-offs like Lucio Fulci's Conquest or Joe D'Amato's numerous Ator endurance tests -- were just a few of the films that rode the success of the trend. None of them were colossal artistic or financial hits when released, so when George Lucas and Ron Howard collaborated on the epic-fantasy film Willow, expectations were very high indeed. Unfortunately, Willow didn't shake the foundations of the film world. It did not become another Star Wars, as many had predicted it would. But over the years, time has been kind to poor Willow, and its appeal as a much-watched family film has grown every year. 20th Century Fox's DVD is sure to please fans of the film. The disc is offered in its proper theatrical aspect ratio (2.35:1 enhanced) and it has been given a thunderous 5.1 Dolby Surround track as well as a two-channel option. The picture is excellent throughout -- crisp, colorful, and the widescreen framing really brings out the old-fashioned epic style of its filmmaking more than previous pan-and-scan video offerings. The disc has also been given a commentary track with star Warwick Davis, who plays the title character. Davis is delightful and is obviously proud of his participation in the production (he should be). There are some dropouts with his commentary, especially toward the end, but for the most part his comments are amusing, informative, and entertaining. Davis talks at length about the film's sometimes arduous production, his relationship with co-star Val Kilmer, and the difference of working with Ron Howard and George Lucas, among other things. He also mentions the filmed -- although it was later deleted --- storm scene that unfortunately is not available on the disc. The disc also contains more TV and theatrical trailers than you could possibly want, a lengthy production featurette, a featurette about the film's use of the morphing technique (it was the first to use it), and a behind-the-scenes still gallery. All in all, the disc is excellent and should no doubt replace your worn-out videotape copy.
