This is Pixar at it's almost best. A humorous look at college without the R-rated humor. Fun and fast-paced story but lacks a little bit of the heart of the original. The 3D is mainly for depth/layers. There are rarely any wow 3D moments but it is still beautiful to watch a well-done 3D film.
This movie isn't really worth buying. I can't express enough how bad the plot and acting is and Jeff Bridges talks like he has marbles in his mouth. Good luck understanding what he's saying. But the 3D is really good. Wait for it to go on sale before buying it you want to see it.

The drive works great with MacOS. It shuts down and boots up with the computer and doesn't slow it down when running. I'm using it with a 27" iMac.
The only downside is that it occasionally at start up isn't responsive and its status light keeps blinking (that's how I know it's not working). I simply unplug the power and plug it back in and it works fine.
That happens about once every two weeks. At first I thought it was corrupting my data when this happens, but that's not the case. It just has trouble booting at times.
If you can put up with that, it's a great deal for the price.
What's great about it: Compatibility with Apple Time Machine
What's not so great: Locks up occasionally at startup
iRobot is a great movie. Thrilling, fast-paced. If you're purchasing this Blu-ray 3D to add to your 3D collection, you may be disappointed. The 3D is great where the effect is used to its max which is rarely. It's basically a re-release of the 2D version with a few 3D effects thrown in.
Not really worth the extra cost of the 3D.
What's great about it: The movie itself is a great watch.
What's not so great: The 3D really isn't that great.
Love the movie, but the 3D was disappointing. I can see why they didn't release it in the theater.
There is no reason to buy this 3D Blu-ray for a 3D experience. The 3D effect is practically non-existent. They basically try giving the film a 3D effect by making the background fuzzy and the characters in focus. The regular Blu-ray disc is a much better picture.

Since this is for the 3D version, let's start with that. It was mediocre at best. Nothing really pops off the screen but some scenes have a little depth to them. There is no reason to see this in 3D.
The movie itself is pretty silly. I think a better actor could have been used for the main character.
