Excellent product

Verified Purchase:Yes
This is my second wireless HDMI. I would highly recommend this. It has a built in splitter so you can run a wire to your TV and transmit with this. It goes into stand by on its own and powers back up automatically. This is important for me because I use this for a projector mounted on the ceiling. I didn't want to have to power up the receiver every time. When you use it for TV, channels change quick and picture is clear and crisp. My old cheap off brand version would take a few seconds as it figured out the feed quality. This is a great product and I wish I purchased it the first time I bought a wireless HDMI.
My Best Buy number: 0398226198
What's great about it: Works great, picture quality, better than most
What's not so great: No Issues
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Computer, One Flaw
By ammcb from Wesley Chapel, FL
I upgraded from a Lenovo Yoga 13. I really like this computer. It s quick, and operates flawlessly. I really like that it didn't come preloaded with unwanted software. My only complaint is the keyboard. It is quirky as the reviews indicate. I thought the back light on the keyboard was broken. I tried entering FN and space with no success. Finally I learned you have to press the space bar from the center. It does not respond when pressed on the sides. It is a big problem almost prompting me to give it 3 stars but everything else is perfect.

I returned this and exchanged it for the newer model. They appear to have corrected the keyboard quirks.

Yoga 900
By ammcb from Wesley Chapel, FL
This is my second Lenovo Yoga. I previously owned a Yoga 13 and wanted to upgrade to the yoga 900. I purchased last years model and returned it due to keyboard quirks. Best Buy was awesome with this return. This model appears to have corrected these issues. Right out of the box, I had issues with the computer needing a hard reset after going to sleep. I called Lenovo tech support who was terrible. It appeared I knew more than he did. In the end, tech support told me to restore the system. I expressed my concern because this is a long process and was told it takes under 20 minutes. It took hours and the problem was not corrected. I solved the issue by changing the power settings from balanced to saver. I'm not sure what this did but it now wakes form sleep without needing to do a hard reset. Although the rest took a long time, the system does seem to be operating better. As I mentioned, the keyboard is much improved. This laptop does what you would expect. It converts to a tablet and has multiple positions. The screen touch screen works well. I like the touch pad and overall feel. They added another usb port from last years model. When you get it, you will need to update the drivers. One draw back which is not Lenovo''s fault is some software does not work with HD video very well. Some of the boxes come up with unreadable small print. You can correct this by changing the resolution but you defeat the purpose of having an HD display. I use this device with multiple monitors via Toshiba dynadock and it works well. This laptop is fast and seems very stable. One little quirk, the fan runs quit a bit and constantly revs up and down when browsing the web. I'm not sure if this is due to having multiple displays but it is a bit annoying. I give this four stars because of tech supports lack of help and the fact you shouldn't have these issues on a computer at this price point. If it wasn't for that and the quirky fan, I would give it 5 stars. I believe the Yoga 900 is the best in its class and could not find another model from the competition that I liked as well. I would stick with Best Buy (I don;t work for them) when purchasing due to their fair return policy, rewards program, and price protection. Plus it is always nice to actually see the device.

UPDATE
August 7, 2016
The sleep issue returned so I exchanged it for another one. Best Buy was very helpful. It has been one week and the replacement works fine and has had no sleep or any other issues. I did search Lenovo's web site and install updated drives prior to returning but did not have success. I believe it was a fluke/isolated problem.

Wanted to Love but Didn't
By mikeheel
I wanted to love the Netgear Orbi system. I really did. But, alas, it was not meant to be.
First, the positives:
1. Impressive speed and wifi coverage. If that's all you're looking for, then the Orbi is a strong contender.
2. Relatively attractive appearance.
3. MU-MIMO ability.
4. USB port and a few LAN ports.
5. Print server function.
6. The satellite unit does make a big difference in terms of signal strength in areas of the house further from the primary router.
The negatives:
1. No guest network. Seriously? I had a hard time believing this was correct, but that's what the setup software said, and there was no way to override or change it.
2. Horrendous management app and software. I've used a lot of modems in my day. The Netgear app and UI is far behind other top routers, IMO.
3. Setup process is automated and had to be restarted several times before it actually worked. Even registration didn't work. I would have preferred a manual setup option.
The lack of flexibility in terms of secondary networks is a killer for me. I really did not think there were wireless routers being sold in 2016 that could not accommodate a guest network. Yet, the Netgear is a new product in a new niche - the home mesh network. The idea seems to have a lot of merit, but this attempt isn't worth the price, IMO.
I was provided this router for review. My normal router is a Linksys EA9500. I must admit the signal strength for the Netgear exceeded the Linksys, and both were equal in terms of speed. That's saying something, because the Linksys is the best router I've ever used. That's part of why I think the home mesh network idea has merit.
But the Netgear was not good enough to make me want to switch. Improve the UI, and add guest network capacity, and maybe I'd reconsider.

Awesome Router
By ammcb
This router does everything it says it will do. I get great wireless access at speeds that I have not seen before from wireless. When I had trouble with WIFI, I tried network over powerline adapters. While they worked, they would disconnect and were susceptible to power surges. I then tried Ethernet over Coax adapters. While they worked, another cable provider said it is not compatible if I switched. Regardless of the powerline or Coax adapters, I still had issues with wifi. Before the Orbi Wireless AC3000, my smart tv would pixelate, and freeze when watching Netflix. The Orbi solved everything. Fairly easy to set up, I now get a strong WIFI signal everywhere in my 4100 sq ft house. I even get a strong signal in my backyard. I was in my neighbors back yard and he didn’t have a signal but mine even reached his yard. This device is great. Speeds on my smart TV are great. Netflix is clear with no freezing or pixels. Works just like it is plugged in directly to the router. I have a provider that comes with a router, this device lets you set it up in AP mode which allows you to use it with your router. All you do is turn the wifi off on the provider router and use the Orbi to broadcast your wifi. The satellite device works from a pretty solid range and puts out a signal stronger than I ever had. Don’t be skeptical, this is the real deal. I am very critical on reviews and rarely give anything a 5 star. This is 5 star.

Has some flaws
By ammcb
This is a difficult review to write and I toyed with giving it 2 stars because of some lacking flexibility. Let's start with the positive. Functioning as a router, this item is great. The mesh wifi access is terrific and seamlessly covers my 400 sq ft house and yard.. Setup was fairly simple. just some advice, give each node time to power up or the app won't detect it. The app simplifies things and gives clear step by step directions. I gave it 3 stars becasue as a router, it is great. If you use it with Time Warner/Charter, it will work very well and replace your router. However, If you use it with Fios, it is a different story. To use it with Fios, you will need to disable the wifi on the fios router, plug the Velop into the Fios rout and it creates an completely separate network. What this means is you cannot plug other items into the fios router if you want them on the same network. Given the Velop has limited WAN ports, you might need a switch. The competition offers an "access point" mode which allows you to use the device as a wifi access point only. It turns off other router functions like DHCP leaving that to the Fios router. I contacted Linksys tech support who confirmed they do not offer this feature at this time. I do not want a second network or a network behind a network so this is a deal breaker for me. There is a way to disable the FIOS router but it is complicated and sin some cases you lose your guide and widgets. The other item that I really don't like is you can only access this router via an app. There is no web based access. Perhaps I'm old school but I find making adjustments on a web based computer much easier but there are few adjustment you can make on this. Linksys tried to simplify the router and setup so much that they over simplified it giving little flexibility to users. Hopefully Linksys will correct this with future updates. I would recomend this only if you have a provider that does not combine the modem/router and if you have basic needs.

Very bad product
By ammcb from Wesley Chapel, FL
I have had this dishwasher 15 moths. The paint started bubbling by the vent. Whirlpool told me that it is out of warranty and they will not fix it. I could pay over $300.00 for a fix or $100 plus parts. They proceeded to tell me that bubbled paint is not warranty anyway, it is cosmetic. These bubbles will eventually flake off and I will have a rusted dishwasher. While the item runs great, the finish is terrible. This is their Gold Series and they should back their products. This is mu second issue with their appliances. I gave them another shot and they simply won't support their products. This is how they treat customers who spent 8K with them over the past 10 years. As I told Whirlpool, I will not spend over $300 repairing a 15 month old appliance. I will put it toward a Bosch and never buy one of your products again.

UPDATE
February 18, 2017
Fixed issue by replacing the entire front panel last year. After 13 months, the paint by the vent on the new panel is bubbling. Appliances are too expensive to have them look in poor shape after a year. I can;t speak what would happen with stainless steel but the paint finish is an issue with this item and Whirlpool will not back it.
