Equip your entertainment area with this multimedia storage tower that lets you elegantly display CDs, DVDs, Blu-ray Discs, games or a combination of media. Eight fixed shelves and a wall anchor kit ensure ample storage and reliable stability.

Not bad for quick storage in a small space

I was looking for a Blu-Ray storage solution that didn't take up much space and this seemed like a great fit.
The unit went together easily. Even though it has a sturdy base, I love that it comes with mounting hardware. It looks great as well and fits in with most decor.
Really, my only gripe at all is that the shelves are all locked in place and the smallest set of storage space is left at the top. This works well if you have CDs to store but nothing else will fit in the space well. While I appreciate the option for mixed media, it seems the better option would have been to get rid of the section entirely and expand the height a bit in the other areas. This would allow a bit more flexibility and room for larger custom cases and the like.
Overall though, this is a great low profile option for the price.
What's great about it: Low profile, easy set up, looks great
What's not so great: Fixed shelving doesn't leave any room for customization
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Bluray we deserved from the beginning
By wolfnggr from SoCal
Looks like releasing the basic film with no extras on bluray just to re-release a more definitive version is becoming the norm. (e.g LOTR) This needs to stop. The only way to show these studios this is unacceptable is to refrain from buying the first half @$$'d version of a bluray. (especially when it's publicly known that a better version will be released later in the year)
BTW, I doubt the first two reviewers actually have the collector's edition.
Now that I've gotten that out of the way, I can go ahead and review this version. Not only does it include the extended version of the film released during the summer in theaters and an extended cut never before released, but. . . wait for it, we finally get extras. It would be a good idea to buy this version immediately since most sellers will debut it at a lower price point than the suggested retail price.
Unfortunately, the 3D enthusiast will have to wait for a 3rd version of the bluray in order to take full advantage of their equipment.
Bottom line, if you bought the original release, you should have rented it because this is the version you should have paid for. If you were one of the 8 people who refrained from buying the first release, you now have no excuse to hold out, unless you're waiting for the ultimate 3D edition. In that case, you can buy this and the 3rd version when its released because you obviously have the money.

To be fair, they announced they were doing this before they even released the first blu-ray.
