Clearly Shows the Difference

I like that the movie shows the difference forms of fighting skills from the Japanese and Chinese standpoint. Plus the women with fighting skills still had to deal with discrimination.
What's great about it: The price

Tyler Perry's Better Non-Medea
on January 6, 2010

When Tyler Perry works little hard to make a movie without the Madea's character, he can suceed. This movie is one of them. Especially the Sanaa Lathan's charater. She normally plays the good character in movies/tv, but not in this one. Robin Givens shows she can act (like in Chris Rock's Head of State), when the material is right. Rockmond Dunbar (Showtimes' series Soul Food/Fox's Prison Break) also plays against his charater.
And the biggest surprise of all, Alfre Woodard and Kathy Bates in a Tyler Perry Movie.
What's great about it: The performance of the cast
What's not so great: n/a

The Performance

This is a movie that whole family can watch and discuss about love, hate, sacrifice, mental illness, and having a family business.
What's great about it: The performance of cast
What's not so great: Like most movies made from a novel; some things were left out
