I like that the movie shows the difference forms of fighting skills from the Japanese and Chinese standpoint. Plus the women with fighting skills still had to deal with discrimination.
When Tyler Perry works little hard to make a movie without the Madea's character, he can suceed. This movie is one of them. Especially the Sanaa Lathan's charater. She normally plays the good character in movies/tv, but not in this one. Robin Givens shows she can act (like in Chris Rock's Head of State), when the material is right. Rockmond Dunbar (Showtimes' series Soul Food/Fox's Prison Break) also plays against his charater.
And the biggest surprise of all, Alfre Woodard and Kathy Bates in a Tyler Perry Movie.
