The graphics are sooo good. Even the people in the stand look like the real thing. Player faces and mannerisms are captured to a "T" gameplay isn't too arcady, it's just right.

What's not so great: haven't seen any shortcomings yet

To start off, I was not a big T.I. fan before I bought this album. But after giving it a listen to, it's pretty darn good. I can listen to the entire album in one sitting without getting tired of it. His songs are all catchy and this album has made me a fan and is tempting me to buy his older albums now.
What's great about it: the album is very listenable to
What's not so great: nothing

Ave Maria, and If I were a Boy are great songs. The rest aren't memorable, but overall I like that album it's easy to listen too, not all the songs sound the same which is good. The bonus songs in the deluxe edition is worth the extra costs.
What's great about it: disc one has about 4 out of 8 good songs on it
What's not so great: disc two has only 1 song that i like on it

A Big Waste of Money!

First off, I don't really write reviews on anything, but I felt compelled to write one because I feel so disappointed by his latest effort. For all the talk that he's been saying about being the voice of his generation and all his cockiness, it's just getting on my nerves. And I'm a big Kanye fan, but there's a point where his antics start to affect how his music is perceived. He's come off as a whiny little brat.
Kanye is good, but he's not "the next Elvis Pressley" that's blasphemy. He expirimented on this album and you can tell. Bad thing when you expiriment and turn out a horrible album on the consumer's expense. I should've known better when I heard his interview about how he approached the album.
It simply isn't good. It has the same beats on all the songs, and he keeps using that synthecizer for his voice on almost all his songs. It would seem original, except that Lil' Wayne has been playing it out over the past year already.
It's disappointing when rappers think they're more than rappers and try to delve into the vocal aspect, it's just not a good mix. If you've ever seen a live rap concert you'll know what I'm talking about because they always sound like cr@p live.
What's great about it: The beats are good, just his vocals sound the same and so synthecized.
What's not so great: I hate when rappers think they're vocalists.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

They may look cute, but there's nothing nice about the characters in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. This fighting frenzy will have you inflicting painful KO's on familiar opponents you thought were your friends. Take your frustrations out on Link, Mario and other characters from throughout the gaming world. Shoot spaceships out of the sky in the Lylat System from the Star Fox games and deal out killer blows in Rumble Falls based on the look and feel of Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat.Hit opponent after opponent to build up your damage meter, then knock your enemies clear off the screen. Rely on weapons that are silly but very effective, such as banana peels, pitfalls, gooey bombs and many more. Hurl old-school crates and barrels or select from Assist Trophies and Poke Balls to strike fear in the hearts of your foes. Combine Standard, Strong and Smash attacks to bash your way to victory. There are so many ways to smash, you'll get lost in the melees for hours on end.

This game is great, it's really fun when you play with the family, the graphics are not that much better than the gamecube's version. But that's not the main selling point anyways. Great for the family!
What's great about it: When you play with 4 players it's the best...
What's not so great: sometimes the controls feel a little slow as far as responsivness

Great product if you don't mind the extra $$$
By Eca127 from New Jersey
For purposes of this review, I recently purchased the following components:
Receiver - Denon AVR-2809CI
Speakers - Definitive Tech - ProCinema 600 5.1
Wire - 16awg
I have read a lot of reviews on BB's and other websites regarding the need for speaker wire connectors. As I understand it, corrosion can occur if you attach a speaker wire directly to your components. I suppose corrosion could occur between wire and a connector but it’s much cheaper to replace a wire connector than a speaker or receiver. Another benefit is the ability to quickly disconnect and connect your components. A collateral benefit of using connectors (versus hardwiring) is that it’s a much neater look.
There are 3 main types of wire connectors that I know of – pin, spades and bananas. I like the banana type simply for it’s ease of use but I understand that audiophiles prefer the spade type. I don’t know the advantages of one type versus the other. You should first see which type of connector your component(s) accepts b/c that might dictate which type of connector you need. Most mid- and high-end speaker systems will accept all or most of these connection types. Within each connector type there are several brands to choose from. Because of my setup, I needed 8, yes 8, packs of connectors! If I had to pay $24 a pack, I would’ve stayed with my first choice (Dynex). However, during a trip to BestBuy I saw a stack of these Monster Banana plugs and they were $12 per pack (half the avg. cost). I think Monster changed the packaging b/c the packaging on those that I bought was a little different than those pictured on BB’s website but it is exactly the same product. Also, the packaging on those that I bought looked a little roughed up so I used that to negotiate an even better price of $10 per pack (the $$$ I’ve spent at BB recently gave me a little leverage). I bought my 8 packs and went about connecting them to my speakers and receiver.
The packaging’s claim of "tool-free installation," is only so if you don’t need to splice the wire. Otherwise, I found that a wire-splicer is necessary to connect these plugs. The wire runs through the middle of the plug and the gold contact is screwed on. This is necessary to know b/c while I think it can accommodate the next bigger size wire than what I’m using - 14awg (aka 14 gauge), I don’t know whether it could accommodate 12awg wire (longer wire runs require larger wire).
The plugs stick out a little bit from the back of the speakers but that does not affect the sound whatsoever. They sit almost flush with the back of my receiver. I don’t expect too many people to look at the back of my receiver but it looks great! The plugs are flush with the back of my subwoofer. My sub is a bit more visible and it looks great as well – a very professional look.
The skinny on these Monster banana plugs is that they are great wire connectors and you won’t find a more aesthetically pleasing product (expect nothing less from Monster), but also that there are other brands that are half the price and which will likely work just as well (see my separate review on the Dynex Banana Plugs). If you find deal like mine, or if money isn’t an issue (or if you don’t need too many packs), I would strongly recommend these. These are great looking connectors but, more importantly, I feel that I am protecting my components.

Not too good
By Raul from Orlando, FL
I purchased these for my Polk T-15 speakers, which weigh 7 pounds each.
They mount on the speaker pretty easily but when mounted to the wall, the speaker sticks out about 5-6 inches. My wife laughed at how ridiculous they looked....she called the speakers "floaters". Also, the plastic material in these mounts sag, so the speaker hangs like they are on a string. I tried to twist the mounts to compensate and I got them looking pretty OK. Needless to say, I am not using these mounts....I returned them and got a set of Atlantic mounts that use a ball to adjust the angles. They are 1000 times nicer and don't stick out from the wall more than 2-3 inches....cheaper too!

Excellent IPhone case
By Debbie49 from Houston, Texas
Great product! Have had for 2 years now and other family members have bought them too on my recommendation. The Incase is slim yet practical. It slips into my pocket but does not slide out unless I take it out. I have dropped my phone a few times and it has remained in excellent condition. The Incase didn't even have a scratch on it!
I would buy it again and recommend it to anyone.

By S2KJAY from orlando,fl
Awesome tv, best plasma ive owned. I did return this tv, however it was only so i could purchase the 64" version. Everything is perfect except 2 things: the tv stand is not right for this tv, needs to be mounted on the wall, period. 2: the infamous buzz sound. Im not sure why it does this bur both tvs did so i assume thats just the way tge tv is. Dont like that at all, but not enough to give the tv up. I use loud surround sound anyway so i barely notice.

you should have gotten the Panasonic GT or VT
June 24, 2012
I had the PN58C8000 from 2 years ago and that was a great TV but the panel went out and my Best Buy warranty got me the option to go for the PN60E8000 or the TC-P60GT50. I went with the GT50 because the blacks are much deeper and the contrast is much more accurate. It doesn't have a camera on the TV like the E8000 but that's not what I bought the TV for. Even though the GT50 is Panasonic's 2nd best TV in their lineup it still has better picture quality than Samsung's top of the line E8000 series. It's not even just my opinion, look it up on the web on cnet, AV Forums, YouTube, etc. The Panasonic has more accurate color and better black levels. I know some people like that super bright color and it looks pleasant at first but when you compare the two models, you'll see that the super bright color is just a gimmick and that true to life color looks and feels much better.

Superb for certain types of users, avg for others
By blurayman from Chicago, IL
I'm an avid home theater enthusiast, who has owned many high-end home theater products from all of the major manufacturers. With that said, I can tell you that this player is certainly very good, although it is a bit of a disappointment. Allow me to explain...
For the average CE consumer, this player simply won't be worth their money. Most of them are just going to connect the player directly to their television or A/V Receiver, via HDMI, and thus, will not reap the benefits afforded by this player. On the other hand, specific CE consumers, that I would classify as "Budget-minded enthusiasts", will be able to derive rewards from this player, that they will otherwise not be able to get for $290 - $350.
If you are such a consumer, this player just might be for you. For those of you that prioritize maximizing video and audio quality from each piece of your equipment, this player will probably make you very happy. I would go so far as to say that you probably won't be able to find a player for the same price, or less than this one, that will deliver the type of audio and video performance that this player does.
However, if you are just a consumer that wants to own a very nice blu-ray player, and you won't be connecting it a very nice amp or receiver, via 7.1 channel analog, this is definitely not the player that you want. I would look into Sony's 790 or 590 lineup, or Panasonic's 220 or 320 lineup, if you fall into this category. You simply aren't going to get your money's worth, if you're just buying this player and connecting it to your television or receiver via HDMI.
There is one more type of consumer that will greatly benefit from this player. If you own an older A/V Receiver, that is not 3D capable, this player will allow you to connect one HDMI cable directly to your television, and a second HDMI cable to your receiver, thus allowing you to still output lossless audio, whilst viewing full HD 3D. However, there are cheaper players (Sony 790, Panasonic 320) that will allow you to do the same thing.
Now that I've discussed which type of consumer will or will not harvest the maximum benefit from this player, let me go over some of its strengths and weaknesses.
We will start with audio performance, as that is what this player is primarily intented for. The Burr Brown 5102's are solid. You won't get anything comparable on a unit that is priced the same or less than this. Just keep in mind that you will only reap the benefits of the Burr Browns, if you're connecting via 7.1 channel analog. If you are connecting this way, this player will deliver audio quality that matches players in the $500 - $1,000 range. Although, the new Oppo BDP-103 will give you vastly superior audio quality, and is priced $150 - $200 more than this player.
The video performance is everything you could ask for. Anybody who buys this player is not going to have a single complaint about video quality. Here's the caveat: Almost no consumer is going to be able to tell a difference in the video quality of this player, compared to an $85 entry-level blu-ray player. If you need the peace of mind that your player is technically delivering superior video quality than cheaper players, by all means, this one will give that to you. In fact, it delivers video quality that is technically on par with players that are two to three times the cost of it. However, once again, your friends and family members that are oblivious to such things will never know the difference. And they wouldn't if you displayed the image offered by this player, side-by-side with the image delivered by an $85 player, on two identical televisions. Keep that in mind.
A few other points of interest: This player doesn't load or navigate very quickly, at all. I would even go so far as to say that most mid-level players will load your blu-rays quicker, and navigate chapters much, much quicker. The front panel/disc tray cover is a joke. For a machine that offers such stellar build quality, and is so solid, overall, there's no excuse for a mirrored piece of plastic being used on the front. The remote control is nice, and has good build quality, but it is actually quite annoying, even after several months of getting used to it. The Wi-Fi streaming is inconsistent, at best, and terrible at worst.

Very good dishwasher
By ANi4ANeye from Cerritos, CA
I bought this to replace a 10 year old KitchenAid that came with the house I bought 2.5 years ago. The KitchenAid worked well but the top rack broke off the hinges and considering the repairs needing to be done, I thought it be best to just buy a new one. My budget was between $500-600 and I found that this LG had really good reviews despite being on the lower end of the price spectrum among all the LG's. What first attracted me was the price because it was on sale during President's Day for $599. Then the overall look and feel of it was a lot nicer than the other brands that I looked at too. The salesperson also said that this was a really good value. ***BEWARE*** that the price isn't just the price. They will tell you that you need a dishwasher starter kit ($30) to install a power cable and drainage hose and also pay $140 to get the thing installed.(I then understood why they marked the dishwasher down $200). You will need the kit if you've never had a dishwasher before, but if you're replacing I suggest using your existing lines. But the inner "Tim Allen" came over me and I decided to try and install the dishwasher myself.
Upon receiving the dishwasher from the delivery guys. ***BEWARE *** Best Buy will only haul away your old dishwasher if it's already uninstalled or if you ordered the installation, but it not, you can call them later and they'll pick it up for you once it's uninstalled. I along with some help from my brother uninstalled the old one and installed this LG after watching directions on YouTube. It was really easy actually and I would recommend anyone who is "DIY Deficient" to try to take this on because I feel like more of a man now haha! Not to mention I now know how to install a dishwasher. I used the existing lines from the previous dishwasher and didn't even need the kit so I returned it.
Now as far as the actual dishwasher itself. It works great! I can't recommend anymore how much that rinse agent really aids in removing the water spots from the dishes. Also, in my previous dishwasher after the load was completed, it really looked wet inside with droplets of water everywhere. With this dishwasher, when the load was done, I opened the door and it was completely dry as if the dishwasher had never been operated before...INCREDIBLE! It is quiet but not any quieter than the 10 year old KitchenAid that it replaced so no big deal for me.
So far so good, but I've only had this dishwasher for a few days. If I come across any technical issues or anything new, I'll update my review. I hope this helps.

Update on my LG dishwasher
June 12, 2014
Just so everyone knows, I've had this dishwasher for not even a year and a half and the circuit board and touch sensor broke. I had a technician come out and tell me that the price to fix it would be $500. I bought it for only $599. I'm very disappointed in the quality of the LG dishwasher. While it was working, it worked well. But the fact that the unit broke down just after the warranty ran out makes me question the overall quality of the brand. If I could update my ratings I would give it a 5 star rating for design, quietness and cleanliness (when it was working) but a 1 star for quality. I recommend anyone in the market for a dishwasher to stick to one that has physical buttons on it because the touch sensor tends to stop working after a while. Even when I first bought it, it was difficult to turn on, but I got used to it. (that should have been the red flag for me) Now I have to go out and shell out another $500+ for a new one. :(

Plasma Burn in Issue.

Do the station identification symbols at the bottom of the screen have a tendancy to Burn In? For example when watching showtime network, on the lower right hand side of the screen they display their (SHOWTIME) emblem at the bottom of the screen the entire length of the show.
even if it does, you have the screen burn in protection feature with this TV. You can actually refresh the screen and reverse any burn in. You should run it maybe once a week just in case.

Do you need special hdmi cables with a 3d tv ?

yes, you need 1.4 version HDMI cables. The reason being is that 3D TVs have a lot of data pushing through the cables and 1.4 cables deliver data speed of up to 15GBps which is more than enough to handle 3D. You may be able to still use 1.3b cables, but it's just better to step up to the latest version because you never know what else is coming down the line in terms of technology.
