There's a new "nifty fifty" in town!

I used the original 50mm f/1.8 lens until upgrading to the 50mm f/1.4. I've recently purchased the 50mm f/1.8 II and can say that it is simply amazing and I love it. I ended up selling my 1.4 to fund a camera body upgrade and could not be happier. You won't be disappointed with this one!

Excellent affordable mid-level laptop!

I got this laptop on sale and for the price, I really can't complain. It will NOT run graphic intensive games, so if you are looking for a laptop capable of running WoW or the like, this isn't for you. I use mine for bill paying, emailing, writing, and streaming Netflix. It came in super handy when I was in the hospital, too! It does a decent job with basic tasks, so if that is all you require, this is an excellent buy!

Sorry to say, the unit I purchased brand new did not work out of the box and I returned it the next day. Usually Toshiba is a reliable brand, but I ended up going with a Sony model for a DVD/R and VCR combo.

Affordable full frame with some amazing results!

I am a lifestyle photographer who upgraded to the Canon 6D from my 60D model. I read countless reviews and watched numerous videos before making my decision. Bottom line, this is an amazing camera in the very affordable range for a full frame DSLR.
I'll start with what it lacks:
- Only has one card slot (Having two card slots would be beneficial to those of us who need that extra assurance against loss of client photos due to card errors. Would be nice if this model had two card slots!)
- Crosstype AF points (I daresay this model is way behind on a level of AF points. If you shoot action, this is likely not the camera for you. My style is to use the center point focus and recompose, so it hasn't been the biggest issue for me.)
- No tilt screen on back (My 60D had the rotate and tilt screen on the back of the camera, making it so easy to get some amazing angles while still being able to see my composition and focus. Not so with this camera, and it really is a bummer!)

- Quality (For Canon devotees such as me, this camera really hits it out of the park. The interface is familiar and comfortable to use, as are all of the buttons.)

I purchased this as a birthday gift for my boyfriend. I got the smaller faced watch and was initially worried, but pleasantly relieved that he loved it just as much (if not more) than the larger watch. It is easy to use and lightweight. He loves being able to take calls on the watch and even hear his GPS directions through it while driving. All in all, this was a great purchase!

If you are looking for a blender that makes great green smoothies, pass on this one. The blender does seem powerful (quite loud as well), and if you just want to make things like margaritas or smoothies with prepackaged powders and softer unfrozen fruits, this may do the job. You will likely have to peel anything you throw in because it will not fully process skins and leaves. If you want a blender to get started on the green scene (kale, spinach, leafy greens, fresh fruits/veg and herbs) you should pass on this one unless you enjoy chewing tiny bits of ingredients after it is served. I did try the blending and straining technique, but that takes forever and wastes so much you may as well use a juicer.
I just bit the bullet and ordered a Vitamix, because for the purpose of everyday fresh green smoothies and raw vegan recipes, there are really only two choices out there; Vitamix or Blendtec (with Vitamix getting the slight edge on pulverizing leafy greens). Hope this helps for those looking to utilize a blender for these reasons!
What's great about it: Quickly blends soft ingredients like bananas
What's not so great: Will not fully blend things like leafy greens, ice, and firmer/harder fruits and veggies
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
