The First Mesh Network For Full Speed In My House

The Linksys Velop WiFi system is the first WiFi system to deliver a rock solid 300 Mbps down/20 Mbps up WiFi connection all around my house and into my backyard.
I've been through Eero and other multiple single wireless AC router solutions that just simply did not have the range and speed to cover my house.
I love the design aesthetics, nice and compact. Single LED on top to indicate the status of the device and network, and a cable management hole to ensure that the cables on the bottom don't tip over the node.
It's super easy to setup the network, but as of now, it does take some time. Took me roughly half an hour to have the system find each node and do its updates.
However, when it was finished, I was surprised to get full speeds all around my house! Having MU-MIMO also helps speed and latency on some of my devices. I will also note the max 5 GHz network speed is 867 Mbps, 2.4GHz max network speed is 400 Mbps. Their advertisement of AC6600 is the maximum total aggregate bandwidth of the entire system.
Also, guest networking is no longer using an unsecured network + password in the web browser! It's a separate network that can be setup with a WPA2 password! That was my one annoyance with other Linksys routers and I am tremendously pleased that they changed this!
Some limitations exist however. You will not be able to split the bands to two separate SSIDs (2.4 GHz, and 5 GHz) albeit the fact that Linksys band steering tech is actually quite good. All settings are controlled through the app with no web interface for any further fine control. I would like to also see which node each device was connected to as well. Two LAN ports per unit, would've liked more. Hopefully future software and firmware updates will alleviate some of those concerns.
But this is the first mesh network to finally deliver on full speeds all over my house! I am very pleased with this purchase and for those of you out there deciding between this and other mesh solutions, STOP LOOKING! This is the solution you want for a full speed home WiFi network solution.

I wanted a new laptop for school as a university student, so I knew I wanted couple things:
- Good battery life
- Powerful processor
- Good durability and construction
- Something that can do some light gaming

And so I encountered the Spectre X360. This laptop is perfect for all my needs. The construction of this laptop is very Apple-line with its aluminum construction and with a beautiful QHD display. The hinge to swing the laptop into a tablet feels quite strong and the magnets that hold it in place are quite sturdy. The battery lasts me for a long time, about 7 hours with some mixed usage. This Skylake i7 processor with integrated graphics can finally do some lightweight gaming smoothly on this laptop. League of Legends can run at 60+ FPS on very high settings on 1080p, for example. The Bang and Olufsen speakers finally do this laptop justice versus the previous Spectre which would have some static as a result of the DTS software. Touchpad, touchscreen are both very responsive; no issues at all with either. SSD can be upgraded (M.2 form factor) if I ever need more storage in the future. Very pleased with my purchase!

Wonderful Keyboard For Gamers and Typists Alike

Coming from a Blackwidow Ultimate 2013, I was skeptical about the thought Razer's very own Green switches would be of any good.
Well, luckily, I set my doubts aside for this Black Friday to purchase this wonderful keyboard.
First of all, the LEDs, which would be the only reason you would purchase the Chroma over the standard Ultimate. They are nice, bright, and customizable through Razer Synapse. Currently limited options with customization through Synapse, hopefully updates will only make this keyboard even better. Only time will tell how reliable the LEDs will be.
Second, the switches. If you have used a Cherry MX Blue keyboard before, you would realize how loud and tactile it is. This keyboard is a bit quieter compared to the Blues and a little bit less clicky. That is not to say, however, that they are inferior to the Blues. They feel amazing when I play games that require lots of keystrokes (League of Legends) and feel comfortable when typing, something like this review. Same as the LEDs, only time will tell if these switches are as reliable as Razer claims they are at 60 million keystrokes.
For those still on the line with this keyboard, think of this like a cake. Do you care about the ingredients (eggs, batter, etc.) used in making the cake? Or do you care that the cake that comes out tastes good and looks great? Same idea for this keyboard. If you trust Razer in providing a good experience with this keyboard without overthinking about the benefits of the switches to you, then this is the keyboard for you. Besides, you can return it if it does not feel right at your fingertips.

Wonderful Monitor, But Needs A Little Setup

This is a gorgeous monitor. Colors and text really stand out compared to my old 1080p monitor. 4K content stands out incredibly well. It comes included with a DisplayPort cable as well as a HDMI cable, a huge plus.
Note, that for this monitor, only through DisplayPort will you get the 4K resolution, through HDMI you will only get 1080p. Make sure your GPU has a DisplayPort connection.
Couple things you'll have to do when you receive the monitor.
- You'll want to set the DisplayPort version from 1.1 to 1.2 through the OSD menu.
- Configure your GPU to run at 60 Hz instead of 30 Hz that comes standard.
- Your monitor may have a popping sound when you turn it on. This is the sound from the speaker. To turn off the popping sound, go into the OSD, go to Sound. Turn Volume to 0, leave mute to the OFF setting, and change the Source to Line In. That will resolve that issue.
- Brightness may be a little high from factory, I adjusted mine to 70.
- You'll want to set the DisplayPort version from 1.1 to 1.2 through the OSD menu.
- Configure your GPU to run at 60 Hz instead of 30 Hz that comes standard.
- Your monitor may have a popping sound when you turn it on. This is the sound from the speaker. To turn off the popping sound, go into the OSD, go to Sound. Turn Volume to 0, leave mute to the OFF setting, and change the Source to Line In. That will resolve that issue.

This works wonders with my R8000. I needed this item to boot its connection into my kitchen, where there is a lot of interference.
Easy setup if you have WPS, just click the WPS buttons on the extender first and then on your router after. Let it connect. Do this twice to connect both the 2.4 Ghz and the 5 Ghz band onto the extender.
I was able to place the same name of my wireless router to the extender as well as the same security key to allow my devices to connect automatically to the extender whenever possible. It works wonderfully.

A Nice Tablet At The Right Price

I was in the market for an Android tablet. At first, I decided to check out the Nexus 7. I purchased one and I realized that while it was fast and speedy, there just isn't enough screen real estate for anything multimedia or eBook reading. So it went back.
And I came upon this tablet here online. For $70 more than what I paid for the Nexus 7, I get:
- a bigger battery
- expandable storage
- Wireless N Dual Band (2.4/5 Ghz)
- a bigger screen
- an aluminum back
- a bigger battery

At those considerations, I thought, why not? It seemed like an incredible deal.
Note that Best Buy seemed to drop the price to $300 from $350 after the Nexus version of this tablet went out, which makes this an AMAZING DEAL. I am very technology-versed, so I was able to root the tablet and install KitKat on it, so I saved $50 doing so.
And what a tablet this is. Fast, zero lag, big storage (w/ a 64 GB microSD card), and a gorgeous, yet reasonable, sized display.
This is the tablet that nearly knows about though. When I purchased it in store, there were only three left and not a model on display. Also note that the boxes aren't sealed, so open the box up and make sure that the tablet is still in brand new condition.
If you're on the fence between the Nexus 7 and this tablet, pay the extra money like I did and go for this one. You certainly won't regret it. Highly recommended.

Excellent Monitor At The Right Price

Even though I have purchased an LG IPS monitor from Best Buy (see my review on the LG 22EA53T-P) , in the end, I returned it for this monitor.
For one, it's cheaper. Purchased it @ $120. The LG IPS was purchased for $150. To me, I would prefer to keep the $30 in my pocket.
The colors are just as beautiful as the LG IPS, refresh rate is good with no lag playing games with my brand new GTX 780.
The bezel is nice and slim on the left and right hand side.
While AOC is not a well-known company, it does not mean that their gear is low quality. This monitor is a perfect example. Highly recommended monitor!
What's great about it: Good Price, IPS, Energy Saver

Seeing that there are no reviews on this monitors, I was a little bit afraid of purchasing this monitor.
However, now, after using the monitor for about a week, I'm very pleased with my purchase.
Playing games on this monitor is no problem at all. There's no lag on the monitor and the colors are absolutely beautiful, playing games such as Far Cry 3 or Assassin's Creed 3.
I hooked this monitor up with a DVI cable on my monitor and a HDMI output on my GTX 680. Note the item will only contain a VGA cable (also called D-Sub). You must purchase your own DVI cable.
For $150, this monitor is very nice. A IPS panel, 1920x1080 monitor with beautiful colors. Go buy it!

The Dynex Headphone Splitter is has a pretty good price,but yet it is not worth buying.If you shake your iPod and the splitter too much,your ears will eventually go crazy.This headphone splitter is not that useful.

This flash drive is good for storing almost all kinds of files,if only this thing was more stronger.I lost all my files in a few months,when my computer wouldn't recognize it.Big disappointment to me and that I couldn't get those files back.
