I purchased 2 of these Digiland DL1026 tablets for my 2 daughters, who both had birthdays in November. I set one up for my youngest before I gave it to her, and I put it through the paces-games, music, videos, internet connection, browsing, streaming, keyboard, screen, buttons-everything worked as it should. Since I gave it to her a couple of weeks back, I have periodically asked her if she has had any issues with it. She has not.
Three criticisms: (1) Only 1 GB of RAM (2 GB would have been much better for multitasking and smoother overall performance); (2) the screen, although it is IPS, still seems to have clear delineation between pixels and the "screen door effect" is more pronounced than I would have liked; and (3) Cameras are functional, but fairly low quality. Despite these criticisms, what you get for what you paid remains phenomenal, and why I still give it five stars.
Enjoy your media with this DigiLand DL1010Q tablet, which features a 10.1" 5-point capacitive touch screen that offers crisp visuals with up to 1024 x 600 resolution and simplifies use. The FM tuner lets you listen to your favorite radio stations.

Performs Great for the Price But Some Shortcomings

First and foremost, this was an excellent buy. It normally sells for $100, but it was on sale for $70 on Black Friday and at least one other weekend before Christmas 2014. At the sale price, I really can't complain about anything. The Android KitKat operating system is up to date, the 1 GB of memory is reasonable, the 16 GB of storage is generous for the price class. The quad-core processor has performed flawlessly in my usage, and the experience has been smooth and seamless. It's handled every app I've used and game I've played without issue. And the battery lasts a very long time, much longer than I had come to expect for even 7-inch tablets in this price range. And I've also been impressed with how efficient the tablet is when not in use, when you turn off the screen it must go into an ultra low power state, it does not seem to use any of the battery at all. It has a micro-SD slot to expand storage and the ability to connect to a television via a micro-hdmi cable. Also, on inexpensive tablets like this, it's not uncommon to see a specialized charger instead of the ubiquitous micro-usb charger. Not so here.
Now, for the shortcomings: The screen is very cheap, resulting invery poor viewing angles. Oddly, the optimum viewing angle is slightly looking down at the screen from 90 degrees. Deviating from that angle in any direction will cause the screen view to become washed out. It's a sacrifice made to reach the price point, but I would gladly pay $10 to $15 more for a better panel if that was the cost, since everything else on the tablet works so well. The speakers would work so much better if they were actually on the front panel, facing the user, instead of the back. And finally, I would love a form-fitting TPU case to protect this tablet, but unfortunately there are no third-party manufacturers making such a case for a low-volume tablet like this.
All in all though, you do get your money's worth and then some with this tablet if purchased on sale. I'd definitely recommend it to others.
