This product to say the least is not worth it. The volume is too low, sound of very low quality, and when I tried to hook it to a stereo receiver the sound was garbled and distorted. I returned the item, and have decided my experience with these kind of phonographs has not been positive. I will stick to a component type turntable from now on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Experience the nostalgic sound of vinyl with this fully automatic belt-driven turntable that supports 33-1/3 and 45 rpm record playback speeds and features a USB output for importing your favorite records' tracks to a PC.

Analog media to digital output, why would you do this?

You take a analog media device, aka LP, run it through a analog to digital converter, enter quantizing noise taking away the presence that an LP can deliver. Even the last manufacturer to make a true analog stereo receiver, Harmon Kardon doesn't make them anymore. It's sad that music was lost in the 1980's because there really was a difference and it was a big difference. If the sounds go thorough even a single DAC, you lose.

So why waste money on analog media, which was likely mixed from a digital source, when it is converted to a digital signal before it even leaves the device?
It is always best to use an analog piece of equipment when listening to analog music. When it is converted to digital then you should always use the digital media as it is now a better sound.
