I've been loving Disturbed and their music since The Sickness, and they never fail to impress me with their talent. Capable of various tones while reaching various important themes including Anger, Politics, Religion, War, and the Ecosystem.
They keep the style I love while always keeping it from getting stale!
keep it up Disturbed!
What's great about it: Written by talented Artists
This to me was the greatest disappointments of the summer. It is a terrible movie whose only true appeal is the Transformer name more than anything else.
My biggest gripe with the movie, is that all the characters are incredibly two dimensional. Even the main character played by Shia, is rather lacking in character development.
The story itself is even more thinned out by the fact that additional 2d HUMANS that no one cares about, are being added even towards the end of the film.
Another Major gripe, is this was supposed to be a TRANSFORMERS movie. But your only glimpses of them are in the exaggerated beginning, and then 30-40 minutes after that. You spend practically the entirety of the film listening to a whole bunch of worthless no name characters talk and walk around and remind you that there's something strange going on.
In total, there are maybe about 30 minutes where the Transformers themselves are actually showcased. A few problems happen with this issue. Many of the action scenes that the Transformers actually appear in, happen too quickly and it is incredible hard to actually see what is happening. Most action sequences look like to balls of metal with arms wrestling.
Second, THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A TRANSFORMERS MOVIE. They should have been the focus of the entire film, not side characters that stand in the shadows for the whole of the film.
This movie completely and utterly failed to achieve what it was meant to do.
