I love Samsung phones; however, they are going in the wrong direction. I had this phone for 1 day and hated it. If I wanted an Iphone I would just go and get one. No removable memory, no removable battery, even the Theme store does not have all the cool themes of the original S6.
Also, with 4gb of memory the phone still has some lag. Samsung go back to your roots and bring back removable battery, memory and maybe even waterproofing. ARE YOU LISTENING. 90% or more of us put cases on our phones who cares if it is plastic. Plastic is more durable and allows more options.

OMG!!!

Internet Connectable?Yes

Simply put - OMG! This TV is the absolute BEST TV I have ever owned and seen (I have owned 3 plasmas and 2 LED-LCD Tvs). It is like watching a LED-LCD with non of the light bleeding, motion blur, off angle viewing issues. It does in fact get as bright as an LED like Samsung claims and the picture POPS.
You have to see this for yourself. The picture looks better when you get the TV home. I would have to say that the picture is as close to OLED as you are going to get!
Internet content most enjoyed: Netflix, Cinemanow, Pandora

Google Nexus - 7" - 16GB: With more pixels than an HDTV in the palm of your hand, movies appear in Full HD and even small text looks razor-sharp. Whatever you use it for — Web browsing, watching movies or gaming — you won't want to put it down.

Okay Not Great Competition For Samsung
on July 26, 2013

This tablet is okay. It is really not much better than last years model. I returned after 30 minutes. I don't really see a difference in the display and to be honest I think the Samsung 8.0 has a better display (though it doesn't state that on paper). Compare for yourself.
What's great about it: Processor, RAM
What's not so great: Display, 7 inch screen, No SD Card Slot

Its clever acoustic multi-touch screen, wall-mount option and nature-inspired styling make this one of our new favorites. It's one of our thinnest all-in-one desktops and takes up very little space. Rigged for responsive gaming and smooth entertainment and music playback.

Best All In One Computer!
on October 2, 2011

I have owned different brands of All in One computers. I have to say for $699 this computer is an incredible value. It comes with Bluetooth, I3, TV tuner, Hdmi in and out, Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, and a remote control for Media Center. As a major bonus the Speakers are JBL!!! The sound is amazing.
Screen is bright and clear. Not a lot of bloatware. Compared to what else is being offered right now this All in One wins, especially for the price!
What's great about it: Screen, Features, Included accessories
What's not so great: Have to take apart computer to update RAM
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought it and returned it.
By Lowkal
First off the good: colors are like nothing you have ever seen before.
Now the rest: i really wanted this tv to work. My viewing habits were spoiled due to having a 8000 series plasma the last 5 years.
Everyone thought i was crazy but i saw ghosting, heavy noise and pixelization on upscaling, dark scenes were horrendous and there was major blooming. Motion was choppy. I spent hours trying different calibrations. Everynow and then the tizen software would freeze up, or mysteriously ask me for voice commands. Wow did I have buyers remorse. I ended up returning this and getting the new lg 65 inch oled. I can say from experience oled is more on par with plasma. No matter how much you upgrade lcd technology it is still inferior to plasma on the eyes.
However i am giving this tv 2 stars because my sons cartoons and videogames were out of this world on this tv with the vibrant colors.
So the short is if you can afford this tv just to watch cartoons and play videogames go for it! Otherwise maybe hold on to that plasma till oled technology becomes more accessible.

I am having the same issues with black levels, they look grey if it is a dark scene. I don't know if the TV is defective or what is going on. I also tried several different adjustments.

Why!!! Thin edge lit samsung?
By Cloud from Brooklyn
So i wrote a review on this product and it was removed but i am doing so again because the consumers need to know the truth.
Lets no look at the brand name of this product for a min. I purchased this set last week because the bestbuy associate told me it was the next hest thing to OLED. After buying this set i did a nimber of testing this is nothing close to Oled or great black levels.
The set it self is elegant looking. I cant take that away from samsung, but unfortunately i did not spend almost $4000 to look at the set. Its supposed to have the best looking picture quality, To some it up no it does not. Fo one this set is edge let from the top and bottom of the set also it is extremely thin. With the laws of physics there is no way you can get great black levels with a thin edge lit led tv.
In a dark room this set has alot of blooming and semi light bleed especially id you are watching anything with letter box. At times even with movies that have do not have letter box, a dark scene that randomly has a bright light or bright colors. The bottom/side of the set with the bright scene blooms as if the set trys to turn off one have of the led strips to give you the illusion of deep blacks but creates a washed out black with tones of blooming across that section of the screen. This is horrible lighting, this is no where close to OLED or even sonys new slim backlight drive technology.
So i test a series of movies to make my conclusion on this set before returning it. The first was the dark knight rises. The sense were bane fights the dark knight. The motion is horrendous creating an artificial halo around bane as he moves in the night. Also watching the darklnights hands jitter while the throws punchs, also the ears of the batman while he moves was also horrible. Motion aside in my theater room i was never able to have a moment or deep blacks due to the light blooming through out the set.
The second test was the hobbit Desolation of Smaug, in bright scenes the set looks ok but the battle in the town looks horrible. Due to all of the dark to bright scenes of smags flames made the tv seem as if it was flicker like a strobe light. I have also notice that the colors are too over saturated even for HDR when watching the Martian in 4k hdr. In short the set is extremely fast the new smart remote is great even tho it looks as if samsung stole that design from amazon fire tv. This set is too over priced for it being edge lit. For all who dont understand being edge and achieving a 1000nits of brightness will only destroy the contrast levels and most importantly in a super thin design. The light has to go somewhere.
I returned this set and bought the sony 65x930D. Its not oled but its a way better set. Go to your local bestbuy and have them show you this set before you turn your fanboy light on.

Edge Lit Flagship?
April 4, 2016
I don't know what Samsung was thinking releasing this TV as their "Flagship." It is very difficult having an edge lit TV give the blacks true enthusiast crave, especially putiing the lighting on the top and bottom of the screen. Thanks for the review, I found it very helpful.

Energy Usage

How much does the Plasma TV increase my Electric Bill over a similar sized & featured Energy Star Compliant TV?
This will only increase you bill about $1 to $1.50 per month. However, you are spending hundreds less to buy the plasma vs the LED. Also, the picture quality of the plasma cannot be beat at this current time.

Best Smart device to purchase, TV or Blu-Ray Player?

If I purchase a Smart TV, do I really need a Smart Blu-Ray? Wouldn't firmware updates be available to all connected devices in this line up?
If you have a smart tv you do not need a smart blu ray player. Firmware updates are sent to all smart enabled devices.

What do the TV description feature boxes in your flyers mean?

I am looking for a smart tv so I can access my computer via the TV? I do not understand the boxes showing the features below the tvs on the flyers you send out. Which symbol means smart tv?
DLNA will allow you to access your music and videos wirelessly from your computer to your tv. Most Sony and Samsung tvs offer this.

Samsung UN46C6400 vs. UN46C6500

Can you let me know how the two models are comparing to each other features and quality wise?
All I can say is if you are looking for QUALITY, don't waste your time comparing Samsung models. If you want a quality televsion you should be comparing the LG televisions. I would recommend the 47LE5400 based on the two models you are comparing. Good Luck!

how can i watch tv through my lg lhb953

Hi,

You can't watch TV through the unit itself. However, you can have the sound from the TV play through the unit by the AUX or Optical inputs. You would set the TV to external speaker and then plug one of the above from the TV into the Unit. The hit the input button on the LG remote until the correct input is playing (aux, or optical). I would recommed optical for the best 5.1 sound quality. I hope this helps.

do i need to save the box to return or exchange an LCD tv within the 30 days?

Hi,

No, you don't need to keep the box if you are returning it to Best Buy. Also, there is no restocking fee. My only recommedation would be to cut the UPC from the box and just keep this with your manuals; however, it is not required.

Hi,

Two Best Buy reps recommended: Samsung - 650W 5.1-Channel Home Theater System over any other all in one units. However, I don't believe that eighter company makes good all in one systems.

I own the newest electronics and on a budget I would purchase any Panasonic Home Thearther all in one system, most of them are 1000 wats.

For all around picture quality and life of TV LCD or Plasma?

LCD is the way to go. It uses more than 1/2 the electricity to run. The picture is sharper than plasma and LCD tends to be more durable than Plasma. LCDs have a lamp life of about 60k hours. Plasma may last slightly longer, but the cost to operate is by far greater.
