I had first seen Children of Earth on BBC America and thought that it could possibly be the best Torchwood story ever.
I've seen a few interviews of John Barrowman (Cpt. Jack Harkness) where he had said that his character has flaws. Though episodes of the show have shown how these flaws none have done as such a good job as this mini-series. How they've done that is something you'll just have to see for yourself.
What's great about it: What's not great about Torchwood?
I grew up watching the G1 Transformers. When the first movie came out I was hoping it wasn't horrible. Unlike others I've talked to, I was greatly surprised that the first movie exceeded my expectations.
When "Revenge of the Fallen" came out, my thought was "could lightning strike twice?". Thankfully it did. I was so pleased with the movie that I knew I would get it once the Blu-Ray version was released.
If you enjoyed the first movie, I believe you should enjoy this movie just as much if not more.
