This computer has crashed at least 30 times in the six months I have owned it, loud, never performed well at all, very dissapointed. Luckily there's a 1 year warranty from Gateway. We'll see how easy it is to deal with them.
What's great about it: Great specs for the money
What's not so great: 6 months old, does not power on, it's dead
Just Buy it if you have a Blu-Ray player, you won't be dissapppointed. This review is comming from someone who actually has SEEN the blu-ray version as I bought it yesterday. It rules.
What's great about it: Great Film, EXCELLENT Picture and Sound Quality
Hilarious movie. The character dialogue is extremely funny. R rated so definately not for the kids. I was more impressed by the audio of the film than the picture. The picture quality was only slightly better than the regular dvd on an upconverting dvd player. The audio was great. Anytime a song came on in the movie, my speakers really handled it nicely, sounded like I was right in the movie. Being that this is blu-ray, I would only reccomend the blu-ray version if you have a receiver that can decode HD audio formats, otherwise I would stick with the regular dvd, as again the picture quality was only slightly better than a good upconverting dvd player.
What's great about it: Funny movie, EXCELLENT Soundtrack
What's not so great: Picture quality slightly better than upconverting dvd
