This receiver is an excellent value for it's price. Produces great audio, and has many options. It would be nice to have second zone, however I knew this wasn't available on this model when I purchased it. It has served my needs perfectly.

Got this TV as a special Best Buy had when buying a larger TV. Getting this TV as well worked out great, as we were moving and used this as a temporary TV while things were being finished in the new house. The picture is excellent, and the sound is very good as well. This TV has been moved to a bedroom now, but it is easily recommendable to anyone looking in this size range.

This is an excellent TV. I'm a fan of Samsung's TVs, as they always have great quality, and an excellent picture. The Smart TV features are really well done on this TV, and the unique remote works well with the devices in my set up. My only possible complaint is that the power cord is a bit shorter than I would prefer. After wall-mounting, it was a bit of a stretch to reach the power strip I had on the floor.
Easily recommendable TV.
Internet content most enjoyed: Netflix, Widgets, YouTube

Excellent multiplayer, good campaign

Multiplayer and graphics steal the show for the latest entry in the Gears of War franchise.
The refined multiplayer, with it's new class-based mode and the ability to play as the Locust, is very well-done. Graphics are, surprisingly much-improved. Even though previous games have also helped set the bar for console graphics.
This game is easy to recommend to fans of the series, or to newcomers.
The campaign structure is a bit different than previous entries, but is still very entertaining.

Excellent and Deep Fighting Game

I was looking forward to this after it was announced. As a fan of DC comics and characters, along with being developed by the same team that created the most recent Mortal Kombat game, I was sold.
I really enjoyed the single player campaign, along with the individual "arcade"-style mode. There is plenty to keep a fighting game fan busy here. Campaign, Challenges, Arcade, and don't forget online.
Great game. Easy to recommend.

Excellent Replacement for Tablet and Laptop

I have been following the unveiling of the Surface Pro since it's announcement. While I was intrigued by the Surface RT, I knew I wanted to hold out for the Pro, since it was able to run legacy software (Windows 7 programs).
I've had the Surface Pro for roughly two months now. I purchased the tablet to replace my current tablet and laptop. This tablet is very powerful. I knew it would more than suit my needs for day-to-day use, but I was pleasantly surprised by it's performance in other areas. For instance, I have been able to load several games that I thought it would have difficulty running, but it is able to run these without issue (Mass Effect 2, Bulletstorm, and others).
It has no problem running Adobe's software either. I'm running Photoshop on it without performance problems either. The only issue currently is the lack of pressure sensitivity, though I read a fix is on it's way.
The kick stand and type cover (I purchased along with the tablet) are also very excellent.
If there is one complaint, it would be the battery life. I knew when purchasing this tablet that it's battery life would be less than other tablets. When compared to a laptop or ultrabook however, the tablet is very much in line with their battery life, which is what I expected.
Bottom-line is that there is no other tablet that compares to the Surface Pro's performance. It's very easy to recommend.

Listen to your playlist in peace with these Sony headphones. They have a 40mm dome driver to deliver the full depth of audio, and the noise cancelling feature minimizes outside disturbances for a better listening experience. These Sony headphones have a battery life of up to 30 hours for extended jam sessions.
Do these headphones have the same cracking problem that the last version had! I am planning to buy them soon and I want them to last for the price. Thank you.
I have yet to have any cracking problems with these. But, I have the previous model as well (the original 1000x) and haven't had any problems with them either. I use them daily and travel with them as well. I do keep them in the case when I'm not using them, could something have possibly happened to yours to cause them to crack? If you haven't already, it may be worth contacting Sony. These are a premium set of headphones, and they have lived up to that with me.

It does show previews on the lock screen and in the notifications at the top of the screen when it's unlocked. You can also reply from messages from that pull-down when it's unlocked. Hopefully that helps!

this laptop does not have many reviews, why? and would you recommend this product if I like Netflix, traveling and take notes at school and some light gaming
This would be an excellent laptop for traveling with it's light weight and thin profile. It would easily handle Netflix and other office-like activities, including Photoshop and mid-level video editing. As far as the gaming goes, it depends on which games you intend to play. It probably will be hit and miss with newer titles, but less-demanding games should work. As an example: I was able to get Killer Instinct to run with playable performance. To do so, I had to drop the resolution and other effects to their minimum. Not bad at all. As a tip, if you do get this laptop and are pushing it's limits for gaming, you may want to make sure and set it's power options to "Maximum Performance". That way it won't throttle it's performance to extend battery life, and instead let it perform at it's maximum. :)

can you access hbogo from this device?
There isn't a standalone app in the Windows store for HBO GO yet. However, you can run it from within the desktop version of Internet Explorer. I've done this several times while using the HDMI adapter to view on my TV.

Can programs such as Netflix be used on this TV? Also does the TV convert 2D to 3D?
This TV does support smart apps (like Netflix).
Samsung does list the 2D to 3D feature, though I must admit, I haven't used it yet. Here's a quote from their features:
"Samsung's built-in 3D processor is so powerful it can convert 2D (normal) movies and photos to 3D in real-time with the push of a button."

Can you right click?
I use web based software for my HVAC controls and need a simple way to right click. I would prefer to not connect an external mouse. does the surface work this way?
The included stylus with the Surface Pro does allow for a right-click. You can either use the button on the pen, or do a long-press with the pen tip. I believe this will also work with your finger, but if you're using a desktop application, you may need the precision of the stylus.
