For the price you cannot go wrong with this. It runs quite smooth. Though when trying to play todays newer games you will want to upgrade your graphics card. Intergrated ones are never good. No problems with this machine yet I have had it for a few months now. I am quite pleased with it's overall performance.
What's great about it: Quad-Core processing, 3 GB RAM
What's not so great: Intergrated graphics card

Learn more about Resistance: Fall of Man. (Flash demo) For decades, populations across Europe and Asia have felt the fury of Chimera: a rapidly mutating parasite that infects other forms of life, rendering its victims into new Chimera. The unstoppable spread of this deadly disease has made its way to the shores of England in Fall of Man. It's now 1951, and while playing the part of U.S. Army Ranger Nathan Hale, you must fight alongside a group of British resistance soldiers in a last-ditch effort to free England and the rest of the world from the stranglehold of this ruinous plague.Exotic weapons and vehicles team with proprietary physics to create a unique human and Chimeran arsenal. While on your mission, you'll encounter lifelike characters and creatures who display sophisticated behaviors and interactions in complex environments for an immersive experience. You'll be subjected to the chaos of large, crowded battlefields in close combat within infested military command centers and decimated urban landscapes based on actual locations in Great Britain.

If you play alot of FPS like myself. Then you will hate this game. It's just a basic run and gun stay alive finish the level game. Really. There is not much more to it. It has little depth to it sadly. It was a good idea. But it reminded me of gears of War except in FPS and it was bad. I would hold off on this one and wait to see what the second brings.
What's great about it: Story, Chracters,
What's not so great: Gameplay

This seven-disc box set contains DVD releases for all of the Police Academy movies. Easily the best of these titles is the 20th anniversary edition of the original Police Academy. The disc offers a widescreen transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio. Many of the people involved in the film's production contribute to a commentary track that plays more like a class reunion than anything else, but a very warm and happy reunion nonetheless. Among the notable participants are stars Steve Guttenberg, Michael Winslow, and G.W. Bailey, as well as director Hugh Wilson. An extensive 30-minute documentary on the making of the film features interview footage with many people who could not take part in the commentary track. None of the other discs in the collection have extras as nice as those on the first film, but each does contain a short making-of featurette that was obviously created from the same materials and at the same time as the documentary on that disc for the original Police Academy. Each of these titles is available individually, but this set offers the most cost-effective way to acquire all seven titles.

They made 7?
on May 1, 2008
Posted by: Mustakrakish
I had only seen the 1st one, so I decided it would be neat to see them all. They are easily needed for any comedy collection. I love how they bring back the same characters that were only in previous movies only for a minute or so to add on more jokes. That is what makes them great to me.
What's great about it: Micheal Winslow & Zed, 7 movies
What's not so great: After 4 they go downhill a little bit.

One of the most theatric metal bands in history, Gwar collects over a dozen of their videos on this DVD release. Each clip is presented in the original broadcast aspect ratio of 1.33:1. English soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital Stereo. Supplemental materials include commentary from the band on every video, behind-the-scenes footage from the production of some of the videos, a still photo gallery, and a discography. This is superb release for fans of the band.

GWAR!

A few of their videos are of stage shows, and the rest are WTF?!?!?! The commentary on the videos is quite funny. The band makes fun of the videos throughout most of the commentary and add sound effects. If you like GWAr this is a must have for the videos. If your not sure what GWAR is, well... check them out. They are a riot.
What's great about it: If you like GWAR you'll love this
What's not so great: Home-made video look

Alright, This is not Ocarina of Time nor does it try to be. But it's new and just as good. it reminds me of the Aelda game on SNES where you went into the mirror(can't remember the ame of it) and you went into the dark realm. But it's not. It just relates to it in a way. But This game is challenging like the others which is great. It's in depth, and it keeps you hooked on it till the climatic battle between you and (the end boss). Buy it and enjoy it.

The real DVD of Sin City has finally arrived -- and it is good. In fact, this release is brilliant. Not only does it split each individual story into their own separate uncut pieces as originally conceived in the comics, but just as expected with most of Robert Rodriguez's discs, the quality of the abundant extras are top-notch. If there's anyone in the movie business that clearly could be considered a teacher of the art, it's Rodriguez. Whether he's explaining how to make a movie with zero money or laying out how easy the world of cinema is with the dawn of the digital age, the man is the teacher whom every viewer wishes he or she could take continuing classes from. This extends to his ten-minute Cooking Schools, which make their triumphant return on this release as he takes you through how to cook late-night Sin City breakfast burritos! Face it, though, this is Frank Miller's baby, and thankfully, his stamp of approval is all over this sucker. From the animated menus to his commentary track with Rodriguez all the way to his narration of individual characters and settings in the world of Sin City, there's plenty of Frank Miller to chew on throughout the two discs. If that wasn't enough, this edition comes with a sized-down reprint of the first Sin City comic, The Hard Goodbye, which can be used as a comparison guide to the finished product. On top of all of this, add in some Quentin Tarantino and Bruce Willis audio-commentary action, plus Rodriguez's patented 15-Minute Flick School (which sadly only clocks in at 12 minutes), plus much, much more! This is the one and only true edition of Sin City that's worth the price of the purchase, and, yes, it was indeed worth the wait.

I bought this version cause I love uncut, unrated, blah, blah. Cause I love seeing that extra 10 seconds that I'll blink and miss. Bet in all seriousness. This comes with one of the graphic novels in the collection. A big plus as to why you should shell out the extra cash on this version if you havn't already bought this movie.
What's great about it: Lots of action, beat-em up stuff.
What's not so great: not for people who don't like good movies

John Woo directs the Muscles from Brussels, Jean-Claude Van Damme, in the action film Hard Target, which comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. An English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1, while a French soundtrack has been recorded in Dolby Digital Surround. Spanish subtitles are accessible, and the English soundtrack is closed-captioned. Supplemental materials include production notes, biographies of people associated with the production, and production notes. This is a fine disc Universal that will satisfy genre enthusiasts and fans of Van Damme.

One of the best War movies

I saw this movie when it first came out and forgot I had seen it, so I bought it. And it was still great, and I enjoy a good War film. Which this is obviously.
What's great about it: Great action scenes
What's not so great: It's over 2 hours.

Fans of the Three Stooges will feel like their prayers have been answered with this generous, lovingly remastered sampling of the trio's early material. After years of muddy-looking public domain videos and a few aesthetically questionable legitimate releases (those unfortunate 'colorized' releases), The Three Stooges Collection, Volume One: 1934-1936 is a treat for the eyes. It includes every short the trio produced between 1934 and 1936 and each has been given an impressive remastering job that really brings out the detail of the black and white photography. The audio portion of these transfers sticks to the original mono mix for each short and they sound nice and crisp despite their age. The one disappointing aspect of this set is a lack of extras. Hopefully, future releases will offer some retrospective featurettes or commentaries for fans. That said, the generous array of skillfully remastered shorts offered here delivers plenty of bang for the buck and The Three Stooges Collection, Volume One: 1934-1936 is thus a necessary package for Stooges fans.

I bought this, cause I'm a huge Stooges fan. Quite a few of the eopisodes I have never seen. This is a great start seeing all of their early stuff. Hopefully this colection continues so I can see all their work.
What's great about it: It's the Stooges
What's not so great: where is volume 2?

I like their music, but I really don't care for the screaming. Thats why I've hesitated on picking up one of their albums for so long. But I am glad I did. I'm going to get the rest of their albums when I can.
What's great about it: good heavy sounding music
What's not so great: not a fan of screaming

How do I receive my free upgrade to windows 7?

When you purchased your windows vista PC, it shoud've included instructions on how to redeem your free upgrade. If in doubt go to the manufacturers website and make sure they are still offering it and are for your model.

I would like to convert VHS tapes and record them on my computer or on a DVD? What player or software do you recommend?

I have a number (~30) VHS tapes that I would like converted to DVD or my computer. I still have a VHS player, but nothing to get the picture onto a DVD or into my computer so I can burn it onto a DVD. What do you recommend. I also have Super 8 tapes and would like them on a DVD.
This would do the job best in my opinion as you are able to see the video on your PC first and make any editing changes you may like and then transfer it to DVD. Or you can choose the other one which will just allow you to transfer to your PC to DVD from your VCR. Though you may be able to edit the footage through Windows Movie Maker, I'm unsure of that; but if so you can save some money by doing so.

What cable do ineed so i can watch movies from my dell computer to my tv samsung

VGA is a typical connection used. But your laptop/desktop may support DVI or HDMI as well. Check and see if your tv support VGA first of course.

Which LCD TV is better between a LG 55LH90 or a Visio VF551XVT or Visio VF550M?

I would like to know how you would rate these three, 1, 2, 3.
I honestly am not too big on Vizio, as they seem to be a store brand, which I have had bad luck with. The LG would be at the top, as I have seen it in person. the VF551XVT would be next followed by the VF550M; I am going off the specs that were provided to me but seeing them in person will help a great deal.
