This release from the classic 1960s show Bewitched includes seasons five and six of the famous sitcom, following the everyday misadventures of a regular American couple whose life is frequently turned upside down because wife Samantha (Elizabeth Montgomery) is a witch. Complete seasons five and six on 6 discs.
Elizabeth Montgomery stars as Samantha Stevens in this wonderful series set in the 1960s. In this two season set, Samantha and her husband Darrin continue to have family members pop in and out of their home. Season 5 is the last season with Dick York as Darrin, before he is replaced by Dick Sargeant due to health issues. The guest stars are fantastic, and the show is great for people of all ages.
Former SOAP star Robert Guillaume reprises his role as Benson DuBois. The former butler is sent by his wealthy employer to manage the household of widower Governor Eugene Gatling (James Noble). Though the governor is technically the head of the household, it is Benson who plays a key role in keeping the mansion staff -- and the Governor's daughter Katie (Missy Gold) -- in line.
This is a show that I enjoyed when it aired in 1979, and enjoyed again when I saw it again the other day. Robert Guillaume stars in this spinn-off of "Soap", as Benson, who takes on the role of butler at a governor's mansion. I have never watched "Soap", and I don't think it matters if you have seen it or not. This series stands well on its own. In the first season, James Noble stars as the Governor, Inga Swenson stars as Miss Gretchen Kraus, and Caroline McWilliams as Marcy, the governor's receptionist / assistant.
POW! The Caped Crusader and the Boy Wonder fight crime in Gotham City in this campy version of Bob Kane's comic strip that first appeared in 1939. This release contains every episode from the third season of this classic 1960s series.
This is my favorite version of Batman. Adam West and Burt Ward were joined by Yvonne Craig as Batgirl in the third season. The wonderful guest stars did a great job of bringing the villains to life. Burgess Meredith as The Penguin, Cesar Romero as The Joker, Eartha Kitt as The Catwoman, Vincent Price as Egghead, and so many more. This series is much lighter than the too dark movie series of more recent decades. I loved watching this after school in syndication in the mid-70s, and enjoyed it now as an adult.
