Only Buy Canon cords

I bought this after growing totally frustrated with a third party cheapie. The Canon cord fits perfectly and I have not had a problem with the flash mis-firing. It is well worth the extra cost over the cheaper knockoffs.
What's great about it: Solid mounting
What's not so great: Can't think of any
I would recommend this to a friend!

First "L" Series Lens Pruchase
on August 30, 2008

This is my first "L" series lens purchases. I bought this lens based on advice from a friend. (He and I both have the 40D.) My sense is that I have not fully tested its capability out. It has been great for event photography and I enjoy using it. While I am not disappointed at all, I still wish that I purchased the 28-200mm L series lens before this one. But that is not materially important to this discussion. I did use it for a 50th Anniversary wedding celebration and took about 1,500 images. It worked great. (I also have the 10-22mm, so the ultra wide angle is covered there.)
What's great about it: Solid, Good Picture Quality
What's not so great: Overlaps with other lenses I have
I would recommend this to a friend!

Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM Ultra-Wide Zoom Lens: Get the whole picture with this ultra-wide zoom lens that allows you to fit more of the shot into the frame without backing away from your subject. This Canon EF-S lens is ideal for architectural photos, landscapes, panoramic views and wide shots in enclosed spaces. The lightweight and compact body is comfortably designed for handheld shooting.

Great lens for events and outdoor uses

Bought this lens and really liked it from day one. It feels light and a little "cheaper" than my other Canon lenses, but it takes high quality images. I also have the 17-40 mm lens, but this one really has a place of its own.
What's great about it: Sharp
What's not so great: Some flaring on the edges
I would recommend this to a friend!
