Learn more about Resistance: Fall of Man. (Flash demo) For decades, populations across Europe and Asia have felt the fury of Chimera: a rapidly mutating parasite that infects other forms of life, rendering its victims into new Chimera. The unstoppable spread of this deadly disease has made its way to the shores of England in Fall of Man. It's now 1951, and while playing the part of U.S. Army Ranger Nathan Hale, you must fight alongside a group of British resistance soldiers in a last-ditch effort to free England and the rest of the world from the stranglehold of this ruinous plague.Exotic weapons and vehicles team with proprietary physics to create a unique human and Chimeran arsenal. While on your mission, you'll encounter lifelike characters and creatures who display sophisticated behaviors and interactions in complex environments for an immersive experience. You'll be subjected to the chaos of large, crowded battlefields in close combat within infested military command centers and decimated urban landscapes based on actual locations in Great Britain.

first game i wanted to play with my ps3. great choice on my part. alittle hard to use both sticks but any veteran of shooter games will be fine. great weapon selection. monsters very realistic. warning: dont play this game at 2 in the morning with no lights on a 42 inch tv, scared me half to death with these freakin creatures. may be one of the first games out for ps3 but is still going strong in my opinion. all 5 stars.
What's great about it: excellent use of hdtv, graphics, sound, monsters
What's not so great: none

another comic movie

ok movie. if u have the others then yea finish the set off if not rent and move on. others are right in that there is way to much going on in this movie. spiderman should have a few basic problems and a load of action fighting sequences and movie over in 1 hr 45 mins. and the power ranger thing toward the end was not helping the cause. the lets team up together and finish him off (cheesy action music comes in) and battle begins. rent and then decide.
What's great about it: action, great villians
What's not so great: long, downtime in spots, power ranger like vibe in end

great movie. the movie takes place about 12 years since last one but they do a good job getting you back in the swing of things. incredible action sequences. to all the people thinking bruce has calmed down on his action im not sure what movie they were watching because to me he still has it. it might not have the same feel as the other three but still a must own for any person who likes explosions, guns and fighting. check it out
What's great about it: action thoughout, same character from previous movies
What's not so great: cant say his famous line but im sure unrated version will get it out of him

Eighteen months after Day 1's foiled assassination plot, Day 2 finds Counter Terrorist Unit agent Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) officially stepping into the role of America's protector as he attempts to stop terrorists from setting off a bomb in Los Angeles. During his hunt for the nuclear device, Jack becomes romantically involved with Kate Warner (Sarah Wynter), who suspects her sister's fiancé is working with Middle Eastern terrorists. Behind-the-scenes political intrigue centers on David Palmer (Dennis Haysbert), now president of the United States after surviving Day 1's assassination attempts. While Palmer supports Jack and CTU's efforts to track down the nuclear device, Vice President Jim Prescott (Alan Dale) and Palmer's own Cabinet question the president's decision-making ability and seek to undermine his authority at every turn. Meanwhile, Jack's daughter, Kim (Elisha Cuthbert), who was rescued from kidnappers in the first season, turns the tables during Day 2. This time, it's Kim who does the kidnapping---or, as she sees it, rescuing---of a child she's been babysitting in order to protect the girl from an abusive father. Later in the day, guest star Kevin Dillon appears as survivalist Lonnie McRae, who takes Kim hostage after convincing her that the nuclear bomb has already been detonated in L.A. Familiar faces returning to action include CTU agents Tony Almeida (Carlos Bernard) and Michelle Dessler (Reiko Aylesworth), whose relationship begins to develop romantically under the day's stress; CTU director George Mason (Xander Berkeley), who is exposed to radiation during a fierce gun battle; and First Lady Sherry Palmer (Penny Johnson Jerald), who reveals a dark side in her manipulations of the president for political gain.

The threat to the United States in Season 5's white-knuckle day is Russian separatists armed with weaponized nerve gas and led by Vladimir Bierko (Julian Sands). Inciting their ire is an arms and mutual defense treaty that Russian president Yuri Suvarov (Nick Jameson) plans on signing with the U.S. and duplicitous president Charles Logan (Gregory Itzin). As Day 5 begins, Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland), who faked his own demise at the close of last season, is working at an oil refinery in California under the name Frank Flynn. He returns from his self-imposed exile to fight the good fight after an assassination rocks the nation and he finds himself framed for it and several other crimes. Jack is also reunited with former love interest Audrey Raines (Kim Raver), but tumult continues to follow them. Meanwhile at CTU, there's a new man brought in to oversee operations, Lynn McGill (Sean Astin), and once again, there's a mole in the ranks. A significant subplot centers on Christopher Henderson (Peter Weller), Jack's mentor-turned-nemesis who has information that can help Jack thwart the Russians. Another thread follows First Lady Martha Logan (Jean Smart), who grows increasingly disdainful of her husband's actions in office.

Probably one of the most honored epics on recent television, HBO's mini-series Band of Brothers was produced by the powerhouse team of Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg. It won the Golden Globe for Best Mini-series and is nominated for 19 Emmys. The 6-disc DVD set comes in an embossed metallic case. It has an extraordinary amount of information in addition to the 10-part true-life story of the men of Easy Company in the 506th Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division of the U.S. Army. To start with, it contains the documentary "We Stand Alone Together: The Men of Easy Company," which interviews the real men of Easy Company as they tell their stories, inner-cut with film footage and rare and archival photos. Also included is a making-of feature on the mini-series, actor Ron Livingston's video diary that shows behind-the-scenes footage from the actor's perspective, and a featurette of the screening on the beaches of Normandy. There is also an optional enhanced viewing "Field Guide," which extensively references people, places and events connected to Easy Company and their campaign through Europe and WWII as a whole. Additionally included are character bios, web-links to the Band of Brothers living memorial, as well as other pertinent sites, a still photo gallery, episodic previews and scene selection menus. The DVD is released in widescreen only with a 16:9 aspect ratio from High Definition digital masters, the audio is DTS English and 5.1 Surround as well as English, French and Spanish Dolby Surround. Spanish subtitles and English closed-captioning is also included. This is a must-own DVD set, especially for history buffs and collectors of World War II information.
