METZGERMEISTER's Reviews

Call them industrial thrash, black metal, or shock rock, the German band Rammstein has always courted controversy with their blend of screaming guitars, provocative lyrics, and confrontational live antics. This unauthorized biography attempts to go behind the scenes to give a more well-rounded view of the group, from those who've worked closely with the band, love them or hate them.

A good learning tool of the band

This dvd is to learn about the bands history and this DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY OF THEIR SONGS IN THE BACKGOUND AS YOU WATCH. It does not need to include any of their songs, if I wanted to listen to their music I would watch one of their own dvds. This disc has some great interviews with some of their previous bands including some interviews from the lead singer of feeling b. If you are a really big fan of the band I would have to say buy it if you are not don't, you won't like it.
What's great about it: Learned about the bands history

Worth it

This album contains more strings than their previous albums. This is a great cd and it shows a whole new side of Rammstein. I found that the most outstanding songs were reise reise, mein teil, ohne dich, and stein um stein. This is so worth it and is another must have for Rammstein fans.
What's great about it: more strings

One of their best

The cd is one of the best Rammstein has, but the real value of this set would have to be the dvd. The dvd includes the songs reise reise, mein teil, and sonne. You may think that "these songs are already on the volkerball dvd" but you are only partly right. This dvd actually includes different camera angles for each song and show different footage than the same recording on the volkerball dvd. This is a must have for any Rammstein fan.
What's great about it: The included dvd

This disc edits together a pair of August 1998 performances from the German metal band Rammstein. The disc contains a standard full-frame transfer. The German soundtrack is rendered in Stereo. English, French, and German subtitles are accessible. Although there are no supplemental materials of any consequence, fans of the band and their distinctive sound will enjoy the performances of "Du Hast," "Spiel Mit Mir," "Engel," and over a dozen other songs. There is little here for the average DVD consumer.

This was Rammstein's first "official" live dvd they released. This show was filmed over two nights and it is just good. It has a wide array of their early songs and they are louder and more hard core than ever. This dvd also includes some interviews about their early days of making music and how they work together. This disc also includes a hidden easter egg of the music video for the song stripped that was a cover of the depeche mode song. This is a must have dvd for all of the Rammstein fans out their.
What's great about it: The whole thing is just cool

Rammstein: Lichtspielhaus is a collection of videos from the German progessive metal band Rammstein. Contains the band's entire collection of promotional music videos: "Du Riechst So Gut," "Seemann," "Rammstein," "Engel," "Du Hast," "Du Riechst So Gut '98," "Stripped," "Sonne," "Links 2 3 4," "Ich Will," "Mutter," and "Feuer Frei." Also contains live concert highlights from performances in Berlin, Düsseldorf, and various festivals throughout the '90s. Special features include five making-of-the-video documentaries, a TV trailer for Achtung Blitzkrieg, and interviews. Universal has also released this DVD in Europe as a limited edition PAL version.

A need to have for a Rammstein fan

This is one of the all time dvd's from Rammstein. It includes all of their music videos up to feuer frei and also includes some live performances from their early days that many people have not got to see. Their is also included in this an extensive interview made from many different interviews over the years. AND on top of all that are some makings of the music videos. Their is so much packed into this disc it is well worth the money and I can't imagine not having this disc being a Rammstein fan.
What's great about it: It gives you just about everything

These are all covers of Rammstein's songs. Each song on this disc has its own special feel from techno to hard core and back again. I would have to say if you are a big Rammstein fan you may want to buy this but if you are not you may not like it as much as the fans would.
What's great about it: It's different

I got this game like the day it came out and it was just so much fun. It's online portion is great and it is fun to beat people from all around the world. It has a really good single player game but it is fun in multiplayer as well. The only thing I could say bad about it is the rubber band AI, and what I mean by that is, when I am in first place on my last lap and I am only 100 feet from the finish line I always seem to get hit by about 3 red homing shells and then one blue shell that takes out the person in first (me) then usually after that i get another red shell. By the time all of this is done I am in about 5 place. But overall I would have to say that this is probably one of the best games out for the wii right now and I would recommend it strongly for those who want to have fun with friends or by yourself.
What's great about it: Fast and fun
What's not so great: Rubber band AI

I have a lot of cables that just sit around so I use these to tie them up when I am not using them, I just wrap the cables in circles then just tie them off with the ties. They do their job in holding the cables together and not letting them come loose. They are worth it and I am going to buy more just because they do their job.
What's great about it: They work
