Not To Be Overlooked

While 'Pet Sounds' is considered Brian Wilson's best work, many people tend to overlook #2....'The Beach Boys Today'. This two-fer gives you that LP, plus 'Summer Days...' and a few bonus tracks for good measure. This is the Beach Boys at their commercial peak.....no song for my money is better than 'California Girls'. If you want a preview of 'Pet Sounds', just go to what was side two of the original Today LP ('Please Let Me Wonder" to "In The Back of My Mind'). Of the bonus tracks, 'Little Girl I Once Knew' is the standout.
What's great about it: Some of Brian Wilson's Best Work
What's not so great: None
