Great solo album!! Great band to back him up. Through & through a album that rocks all the way through. Diamond Dave still rocks and I recommend this album to anybody that liks some good time rock n' roll!!
What's great about it: Very reflective of hiw time with Van Halen!!
What's not so great: He's not with Van Halen!!

This is truly a phenomenal album. The Satch, Hagar, Michael and Chad (?) hit grand slam with this album. I went into this album not knowing if this wood be a "Van Hagar" II, and got absolutely blown away by the entire band. Joe by and far (in my opinion) commands the most respect on this album, However, this is an album that one can't go wrong with. Buy it $9.99 and have a great time!!
What's great about it: One truly excellent album
What's not so great: these guys didn't form the band years sooner!!

One rockin' album!!

This album and "Fair Warning" are (in my opinion) are THE most rockin albums in the Van Halen library. The entire album rocks, and I can't say that I get bored listening to this album. I've owned a copy (originally on tape, and then on CD) for 20 + years. This is one of the few albums that one can't go wrong on!!
What's great about it: VH @ their finest!!
What's not so great: nutin', honey!

Newer Sound, but still Neil Young
on July 26, 2009

Album starts off mellow (Beautiful Bluebird, Boxcar), then Neil gets into some jams (Ordinary People, No Hidden Path, The Way), and also has some rockin material (Spirit Road, Dirty Old Man, etc.). Overall, great blend of material
What's great about it: Nice combo of mellow music and rockn' jams
What's not so great: nothing in particular
I would recommend this to a friend!

For those that love Neil's music

This is an album that one would put on when they're doing the highway thing, as well as at home when one wants some mellow rock n roll. This album strikes me as a continuation of "Chrome Dream II" Overall, a great Neil Young album for those that follow his work.
What's great about it: Definite Neil Young all the way through!!
What's not so great: not sure that there is any

AWESOME ALBUM!!

Bought this album for the track "Ladies and Gentleman". After listening to this album a few times in my car, I can now add tracks four, seven and eight as being as cool as "ladies and genlteman". A definite must have for those that like straight forward hard rock/heavy metal!!
What's great about it: Entire album is worth listening to
What's not so great: can't say that there is any

Overall, this album rocks, but it has a couple of mellow songs on it that could have been left off. I would say that this is not an album I would recommend for new Saliva fans. Maybe start out with their earlier stuff and work their way through to this album
What's great about it: album has some rockin songs on it
What's not so great: didn't care for some of the "mellow" songs on it

Impressive debut

I bought this album primarily for the song "Seek & Destroy". While this album is still taking some getting used to, in terms of it being a "thrash metal" album, I definitely will give this band it's dues for putting out one heck of a rockin' collection of songs
What's great about it: Immpresive Debut from what has become a legendary metal band
What's not so great: a little too fast for me
I would recommend this to a friend!

A Classic, Must Have Album

This is old school metal at it's truly finest. In my humble opinion, I would have to rate this album as their best album in the Metallica library. Tracks two, four, and seven are my favorite. This is an album that can never be played enough in my car, or on my stereo at home. The songs on this album flow together, and each song flows awesome front start to finish!!
What's great about it: It's a great album through and through
What's not so great: I waited 25 years to add it to my collection
I would recommend this to a friend!

This was my first Metallica purchase since "The Black Album" - i had gotten this album because my boss is a HUGE fan of Metallica and was raving about this album. This album is one rocking album. Getting back into Metallica, I would rate this album near the top of all their material, along with the album "Master of Puppets". A must have for all people who like to rock!!
What's great about it: The entire album
What's not so great: nothing
