I have this cook top in white, but I also wrote this review for the stainless steel.
Grates on this product are set so high that when you try to bring water to a second boil after adding ingredients (even on the power boil) it takes a long time. It is a definite design flaw. When I phoned GE they said the product is working so there is no buyers' remorse and I could sell the product and buy a new one. They also told me to start cooking on the main burner and switch pots around - so now I'm playing musical pots. My daughter-in-law and husband have also complained about this product. GE has a buyers' beware policy, so you won't get cooperation from them. If I could have given them NO stars, I would have, but if you want a product that looks pretty, but doesn't work, this is for you.
