One of the things I've always loved about this band is their ability to harmonize smooth guitar rifts with beautiful vocals and a beat that you can just feel coming through the drums. This EP takes that feel and steps it up one more notch with a couple of very cool covers and as always, some catchy originals. . Gold Dust Woman, to me, is the stand out track on the EP. As a fellow musician, I appreciate when someone takes a cover, especially with a blues/jazz feel to it and makes it their own. The Spill Canvas did this masterfully. As for their originals, they have once again managed to lace their deep lyrics in a such a clever way that they have a catchy feel to them. . Overall this is a highly impressive EP, it could be a hit to your wallet. If you are unfamiliar with the Spill Canvas, buying their album 'One Fell Swoop' might be the best bang for your buck. If you can afford it though, this album is definitely worth the buy, and is a must have for any Spill Canvas fan. . The only other downside to this album is the remix of Stapplegunned. Now, I love this song, but I didn't really see the point of having it on this EP. The remix isn't all that different from the original. There is an acoustic version of this song on Punk Goes Acoustic 2. I would have rather seen that version on this EP.
