Good game, but..
on November 12, 2007
Posted by: Codename067
To start off, let me clarify that this game is indeed a great game, but it lacks a couple things that other games in thie genre already have. For instance, I did not like the controls of this game. I thought they were a bit slow and SOMETIMES unresponsive. I am an experienced gamer and have been playing since the age of 3, so I have played a huge amount of games for me to be able to tell that this game lacks a thing or two. Splinter Cell played better and I had more fun playing that game over this. Still a must have title! check it out.
What's great about it: Action, realisim, strategic, ect.
What's not so great: realisim [can also be bad], not as smooth to control as other games with the same style.

World War II changed lives, changed countries and changed history. The Normandy Breakout Campaign was the most intense and dangerous action of the entire conflict, as young soldiers from America, Britain, Canada and Poland struggled with the fear and the fatal force of the Nazi army. It was a time when the world held its breath as tyranny was confronted. Bravery was tested, tactical expertise meant the difference between life and death, and battle was often up close and personal. Bold heroes were needed as Europe fell under the shadow of death. Step back into that world, if you dare, and see how you would perform in this time of crisis. The Germans are marching toward world domination — will you step up and stop this assault against the free world? Will you answer the Call of Duty?Call of Duty 3: Gold Edition thrusts you into the thrilling landscape of the second World War and gives you a bonus DVD packed with features and a token for a free map pack. This latest addition to the popular Call of Duty franchise features all-new close-quarters combat, environmental physics and a host of ways for you to take down your enemies. Vivid graphics immerse you into a realistic world, where special tactics must be employed against your enemy if you expect to forge a path to victory. Intense, team-based multiplayer options offer multiple-occupancy vehicle combat, so climb aboard a tank or Jeep with your friends and team up to take down the Nazi forces once and for all.

CoD 3 did not disappoint, but..

CoD3 is fun and all, the action is great, but looking at it from one perspective, one call right away see the similarities in the game play with CoD2. Fun none the less, still recommended.
What's great about it: Crazy action! Fun to play, missions are sweet!

Learn more about TimeShift. (Flash demo) SynopsisDr. Aiden Krone is a former professor of Applied Physics at MIT, notorious for his unrivaled brilliance and obsession with Thermodynamics, Advanced Propulsion and Quantum Electrodynamics (QED). Despite his increasing demands for control and secrecy, he became the founder and lead physicist of a classified Time Travel research program. More than a decade later, Krone's program successfully developed the world's first time-traveling suit technology. However, as the program's equally secretive decision-makers demanded this technology be adapted for military applications, Krone's self-entitlement and anger grew. He desired a new existence where his scientific endeavors could be shaped without outside interference. The combination of Krone's mind and his suit technology gave him the ability to create and control another existence — an existence where a man of science could finally operate without restrictions, regardless of the effects on humanity. Now it's up to you to trace Krone and stop his tyrannical rule over Alpha District. Don the Beta Suit and master time to become the ultimate weapon.

Good action, almost open ended.

After playing this game, I was impressed, not as much as I thought I would be. I really liked the approach on this game and how the character can mess with time to use it to his advantage. You really need to think about how you are going to control time before you do something because if you don't do the right action, you just might not survive.
What's great about it: Innovative, strategic, gotta find the right way to do things!

Being an actual soccer player, I can't say that I relate that much to the game, but I do appreciate all the little things that the makers threw into this game. I always have a blast every time I play it, and online is super fun as well. Highly recommended.
What's great about it: Controlling the players, the interface, THE GAME ITS SELF!!

I am glad CoD 4 is out. After playing CoD 4, I thought I would come here and write about how repetitive this game can get. Even CoD 3 played JUST like CoD 2. I mean, hardly any story involved, all you do is follow the courser and get missions accomplished. A.I. can be "koo koo" at times, but that was expected. Never the less, very fun to play.
What's great about it: Action packed! Explotions, weapons.
What's not so great: Story. Same old CoD.

This game is flat out amazing. I am glad that I got hooked since Ace Combat 4. Its not that I was never interested in the series, its just that I did not even know it existed. After playing and finishing AC4, I realized how amazing this game is. the best aircraft game ever. AC5 only convinced me more, and now AC6, WOW. Thats' all I am going to say. I should go back and play it now. Highly Recommended.
What's great about it: Amazing graphics, game play, and explosive action
What's not so great: Some. Not worth mentioning. Fans and non-fans will LOVE IT either way.

I only give it a 4 because I am a fan. If this was my first time playing it, it would've been a 5/5. Hardcore fans probably give it a 3 hence its not that different from previous MoH game.
What's great about it: Fun to play, amazing settings.
What's not so great: Same old MoH game play. Nothing too new.

What's great about it: Cool ambinet music.
What's not so great: No 'Ave Maria'
