I really think that this went under the radar. In my opinion it was maybe the most solid album to come out all year. Every song is great in its own way. I think that a couple of the songs were really as good as it gets. I highly recommend the whole album.
What's great about it: creativity, almost strayed to country at points
i don't usually flinch at vulgar language or crude humor, but i'm still blushing. Aside from being completely morally wrong (just kidding, laughs), I had a great time watching this. It had a relatively good storyline for a comedy, and wasn't lacking in humor. Please don't watch this one with your grandmother though! Have fun!
I really enjoyed blood diamond, even though it did get to be a bit long. Was actually very moving, and it made me think a lot. Great performances from Leonardo DiCaprio and Djimon Hounsou.
I get down on my knees and thank the Red Hot Chili Peppers for this album. It's just so good at all turns. Two out of twenty-eight! This album is arranged perfectly, with the right feelings at the right times.
Jupiter is the first disc of the album, and I would say is aimed toward fans of Pop/Rock. It has so much more past the popular Dani California and Snow (Hey Oh). Charlie, Stadium Arcadium, She's Only Eighteen, Slow Cheetah, Wet Sand, and Hey are all stars and went unnoticed by most.
Mars is the second half, and is my personal favorite. This is aimed all true Alt fans and die hard RHCP people. There is really only one catchy song on here and two of the fourteen are fillers, in my opinion, but the other eleven songs are so deeply moving, not with the lyrics but just the raw sound that you can't miss this. Everything is so good, and the last four songs are incredible to end the album.
Overall, this is a musical masterpiece and should definitely be a part of your music library. Though it isn't the Chili Peppers that we used to know, I love it just as much as Californication and all the others.
What's great about it: Diversity, Hooks, Quality Musicians
