A little different, but pleasing to the ears.

I recently received this album as a birthday gift, and I am happy to say that I am satisfied. This album leads the YYY's in a completely different direction, and tends to be more mellower and laid back than their previous albums. In this album, synths appear in more abundance, which leads to a decrease in the ever so enjoyable crunchy guitar. Although there is a lack of crunchy guitar, I found the album to be a enjoyable and worthwhile addition to my collection. I would definitely recommend "It's Blitz!".
What's great about it: Karen O's voice, the synths
What's not so great: Not really anything bad, just a different direction for the YYY's
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great for person new to recording

When I first got this product I was thrilled by it's ease of use, from taking it out of the box, installing it, and using it to record. It gets the job done when I hook either my bass guitar, or electric guitar up to it and use it to record them. There are no extra hums, hisses, or any other noise, just the sound of the guitar. I wish I could say the same for the use of microphones, but I can't. The recording device does not have phantom power. Phantom power is used to power some microphones, like the one I have, an MXL 990 condenser microphone. I am now looking at purchasing a different recording device made by M-Audio that is capable of Phantom power. Overall, this is a great product for a person new to recording. It's very user friendly, from installing the driver, to using it to record.
What's great about it: cheap, easy to set up
What's not so great: no phantom power
I would recommend this to a friend!
