The complete darkness is agonizing. All that reminds you you're conscious is the cool puddles of sweat in your palms and the indistinguishable chatter of hundreds of headbangers ready to hang on your every move. You flex your fingers, hopelessly begging for blood to keep flowing to them. Years of practice and determination have come down to this. Your mind races in rewind, and your fear and anxiety take over. They yelled at you hundreds of times to turn it down. You were told to cut your moppy hair every Sunday for six years. They said you weren't good enough, and you sat through a thousand lectures about "the future" and your wasted youth. But you sliced through the fog of negativity, and all that stands before you now is a dream ready for the taking. The spotlight comes up, bathing you in blinding light. A collage of silhouettes erupt as your drummer counts down. This is your one chance — it's time to rock out or cop out. Are you ready to take your first step towards rock-and-roll superstardom? When the lights come up, will you be signing autographs or unemployment papers?Guitar Hero simulates the thrill and the glory of rock 'n' roll. Choose from eight different characters, from metalhead to classic rocker, and build a career as a working rock musician. The real kick is in the gameplay, which incorporates a guitar-shaped controller for added realism (not included). Play along with 30 awesome rock tunes from some of the greatest bands in history, such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Boston, Audioslave and White Zombie. Four difficulty levels test your skills and six venues place you before increasingly larger audiences. Air guitar is for airheads. Take the next step and experience life as a rock legend.

this game ROCKS!

This game is incredibly fun and easy to pick up and play if you're new to the game or not. It can be challenging when put on the hardest difficulty; however, most reviews I've read from game magazines (such as Game informer and other internet sources) say it isn't as challenging as their newer games- meaning it's easily beaten on the hardest difficulty. I haven't beaten it on expert yet and it's fun to play whenever and wherever so definitely pick this one up if you haven't done so already.

great singles

Never again is a really great single and I also enjoyed most all of the other songs on this CD; however, compared to her last CD (breakaway), this one is just average. If you enjoyed her singles at all, definitely pick this disc up.

just a time card

This is mainly for those players of "WoW" who do not have a credit card or debit card and want to continue playing every 2 months. It puts 60 days onto your account and is just the same idea as paying 15 bucks a month subscription... the only difference is it's taxed.

The arenas of World of Warcraft give the most battle-hardened and cold-blooded fighters a place to compete against each other in gladiatorial battles for honor, glory, and power. Gather your allies, build your teams, and prepare to face off against merciless and formidable enemies in a race to reach the top of arena ladder.

Great addition to WoW
on November 11, 2007

Just as with World of Warcraft, the expansion is an awesome game. With add-ons to the Horde and Alliance to even out the imbalance made from paladins and shamans being exclusive, the game becomes more fun for PVP players as well as the role-playing server players. Jewelcrafting in addition to slotted weapons add more personality/uniqueness to the game and items you get. This game is very fun and enjoyable... a must have for anyone who has World of Warcraft.
What's great about it: new races: blood elves and draenei, jewelcrafting- new profession, level cap increased to 70
What's not so great: very addicting, areas with overcrowding can spoil your fun,

Battlefield with a Star Wars twist
on November 3, 2007
Posted by: melacine
from Rochester, MN
This game plays like battlefield: on each level, you're given a certain number of available soldiers to use (say 150 for a level) and you go through and try to achieve your goals (like killing sith and eventually fleeing to a flight pad to escape). If you die, your soldier amount decreases one, you can choose another fighter and continue. There are many different fighters to choose from such as sniper, closer range soldiers, and that grants lots of replayability. After you reach a certain part in the level, you unlock a jedi and can play as Yoda or other cool Jedi. This is a definite must get for all action lovers and even more necessary for Star Wars fans.
What's great about it: lots of replayability, hours of fun gameplay, decent graphics, many playable jedi
What's not so great: nothing that i can think of

Sin City Twist on 300 spartans story
on November 3, 2007

An awesome Sin City twist put on the amazing story of the hold out of 300 against a million or so Persian Army. The half comedic art combined with the superbly done action scenes makes this film a must see for all action fans out there.
What's great about it: Sin City twist, sweet plot, awesome action
What's not so great: not historically correct, unnecessary nudity scenes early on

Torture is disgusting
on November 3, 2007

I dislike this movie because the main basis of this horror is 3 American guys stay at the Hostel that tortures people. It is very graphic and I feel like torture is not very horror like... and is more grotesque/disgusting to me. If you like to see torture, this is your movie, but if you can't take graphic violence, pass on this one.

Nice CD

If you are into Christian Rock, Skillet would be the band I'd recommend to you. They are great live and this being one of their most recent CDs is great. I think Alien Youth and Collide are better than this CD but this is still a solid CD. They definitely have an interesting blend to rock so check them out.

Transformers is an awesome movie! Definitely a must-see. The special effects are awesome and the plot is more interesting than you would assume (for those who haven't seen it). I watched it twice the first day I purchased this so definitely pick up this sweet flick.
What's great about it: awesome special effects, good action, and funny
What's not so great: none

The Matrix came along at just the right time in the history of the DVD format. With its incredible action scenes and futuristic plot, it proved to be a tremendous boost for sales of DVD players and proof of the power of DVD to present a movie accurately. The 2.35:1 widescreen presentation is a crystal clear translation of the movie's dark imagery. While there may be a lack of resolution in background images, the stylish visuals in the foreground draw all of the attention, along with the powerful, seat-rocking sound effects of Dolby Digital mix. Special features are mildly entertaining. The cast/crew commentary is by Carrie-Anne Moss, visual effects supervisor John Gaeta, and editor Zach Staeberg, and often leans toward the technical side of the production. The music-only "Audio Track" is for fans of the soundtrack only, and the making-of documentary is 25 minutes of hyperbole. "Taking the red pill" leads to a six-minute overview of the technical sides of "bullet-time," a special-effect element found in the film. The "Follow the White Rabbit" feature brings a rabbit icon to the screen during scenes of heavy special effects; hitting "enter" leads to behind-the-scenes footage of the scene in question and then places viewers back into the scene of the movie. Filmographies of cast and crew are also present. Instant access to all of the DVD's 38 chapters is available via the "Scene Access" menu, making this disc an entirely successful presentation of a fun film.

The Matrix is classic

This movie is spectacular! A must see for any action or sci-fi fan. Keanu Reeves and Laurence Fishburne are excellent in their roles as Neo and Morpheus (respectively). Widescreen is the best format (besides HD of course) and you'll definitely want to see this movie more than once.

Glorious Game Engine
By Trabis
FFXV runs a brand new type of engine compared to the rest of the games in the series. The game runs smoothly, and is a new experience to play. The environment is beautiful, but the graphics do not meet my expectations from next-gen performance. It is about the same graphic quality as FFXIII (I'm playing on Xbox). The character designs are kind of corny, but the overall product should not be judged by just that.

What are you using for a connection from the xbox 1 to your tv? Just curious if it's a good hdmi cable or something they gave you with the xbox1. Also, is your tv 1080p or lower? Things like that could cause your graphics to look less than what is shown on the commercials on tv. Thanks!
