Great gaming earbuds
on October 17, 2023
Posted by: Linksys
This is my first experience with earbuds designed for gaming specifically so I can’t compare them to others. With that said, comparing them to over the ear gaming headphones I’m pretty impressed so far. Using these on my ps5 playing COD, I was impressed by the depth of sound you get and the situational awareness. Since my days of gaming starting with the Xbox 360 all I’ve ever used is over the ear headphones and though I still use them, it’s nice to have a set up earbuds that can do the same thing. Earbuds such as these are my go to for everything else when it comes to music on my phone or calls. At this time I plan to only use these for my PS5, but its nice to see when you’re using these with a phone they can be used independent of each other for music or calls as they both have mics.
When using them on the PS5 you can’t use the mute button on the controller to silence chat, this is the same with the Sony Inzone H9 headphones. I really don’t understand this with a first party headset/earbuds as you can with third party headsets. To turn the mic off with voice chat you simply hold on the right earbud. The touch controls work really well so that makes it a little better. When turning off or on the noise canceling or ambient sound, it would have been nice if it announced what it did, instead it just makes different tones. Sony claims up to 12 hour battery life without noise canceling and up to 11 with while gaming, that’s pretty impressive battery life in my opinion. I really wish Sony would make an Inzone app for the PS5 that allowed the customization you can get when on pc.
Overall, aside from not being able to silence your mic from the controller, the Inzone buds are a great alternative when gaming on my PS5. I get the sound, depth and situational awareness without the bulk of a headset. If you want the gaming experience without a big set of headphones these are a great alternative.

Excellent outdoor smart plug
on October 15, 2023
Posted by: Linksys
The biggest thing with any smart device is how well the “smart” part works and on that front TP-Link has it figured out. The app and device work flawlessly together which is the biggest part of the smart experience. The setup process is as easy as plugging the device in, opening the app and choosing which device you’re adding. The process takes about 5 mins at the most and is definitely as easy as it gets and is much easier than other smart plug brands I’ve used. And once you’re connected to the device, setting up a schedule couldn’t be easier. You set the time you want it turn on and off and bam…it’s done. I know that seems like a no brainer, but like I said, I have two other smart brands that are a complete pain to set up schedules for the plug/lights to turn on and off.
In use, I like the fact the plugs can be controlled independently and can have different schedules for each outlet. I’m so use to using the non smart outdoor plugs that you turn a dial and pull the little pins up to set a schedule this plug makes the experience so much better. Having a smart device is nice if it makes life easier and I’m happy to say the TP-Link Tapo smart outdoor plug does.

Great indoor security cam
on October 15, 2023
Posted by: Linksys
This is my first TP Link camera and so far I’ve been impressed with it. One of the big issues with smart devices is the integration of the product and the app and TP Link nailed it on this part. From unboxing to having your camera up and running takes 5 to 10 minutes at the most. There was no failure to discover the product or failure to setup, like I’ve dealt with some “smart devices”. Once you have the camera up and running, opening the app and viewing the live feed has been instant for me. No loading or waiting, just an instant live feed, this is the first camera brand that I’ve used that has done that.
Using the camera TP Link allows for multiple types of motion detection, from just motion, person, pet, vehicle, different sound detection and others. These can all by turned on and off individually. If using this to look inward on your home, TP Link has a privacy mode which is nice and something all indoor cameras should have. The only negative for me is the night vision can’t be turned off, this is only an issue if you want to use this camera at a window looking outward. When using it like this you won’t be able to see anything outside at night due to the reflectivity of the night vision illuminator on the window. Overall, the TC73 is a great inexpensive indoor cam that is easy to use thanks to a well designed app.

Great fast charger
on October 10, 2023
Posted by: Linksys
Insignia is quickly becoming my favorite brand for chargers and cables. The first Insignia product I purchased was a plasma tv back in 2009/10 and liked it so much I purchased a second. I did the same thing a couple months ago when I bought one of there 45 watt dual USB-C chargers. This 30 watt charger is smaller and more travel friendly than the bigger 45 watt models. It’s a little bit bigger than the charger that use to come with iPhones, but much more powerful. The braided cable that comes with it feels really robust and strong.
Performance wise I charged up my 12.9 iPad Pro with it and it took 2 hours to charge it fully from 18%. This was while watching videos on YouTube the whole time, so I would expect to probably cut that in half if the iPad was off and not being used. The Insignia brand has always represented getting a lot for what you pay and I’m glad they’re now making a lot more products such as this. The 30 watt Insignia fast charger and cable gives a high quality charger at a reasonable price from a brand you can trust.

Portable pain relief
on October 10, 2023
Posted by: Linksys
Like many or almost everyone I suffer from some kind of body aches or pain on a daily basis it seems like sometimes. When I’m home, using an ice pack or heating pad is easy to do, but on the go that’s not an easy thing to do, until this. I have a couple of Therabody products and they all are great, with this though I was very skeptical at first, at least with the cold part. I don’t know what kind of magic they use but it works! Does it get as cold as an ice pack, no, but I don’t put an ice pack directly on my skin, so it’s probably pretty close.
When using the device I placed the metal plate of the device directly on my skin and doing it like this, it feels very cold. Using a digital thermometer I measured a low of 56 degrees on the highest cold setting and 106 for high heat. You can use only cold or only hot or you can have it alternate between the two. When you use the device it has a fan the runs, it’s not annoyingly loud but someone sitting across the room will know it’s running. You get two different size straps and a USB-C charge cable. Does this completely replace a heating pad or an ice pack, no, but when you’re on the go you’ll appreciate having it.

Can almost make you a pro!

The quality of videos and photos you can get from the Mavic 3 Pro is simply stunning, I mean it can make even an amateur get amazing results! This is my fourth DJI drone, I’ve gone from the Spark, mini (1st gen), Air 2s and now the Mavic Pro. I use my drones for personal use and real estate photography and the Mavic 3 Pro takes it to the next level for me.
Unboxing, the Mavic 3 Pro fly more combo comes with 3 batteries, 100 watt Charger with 2 USB-C cables that can charge both the controller and batteries at the same time, 2 pair of extra blades, 4 ND filters,a bag and my favorite thing, the controller with the screen. This is my first experience with the controller with a screen and after using it I never want to use my phone again. When using my phone I would either forget to turn up the brightness or the phone would get hot and dim the screen. The controller screen is easy to see what you’re doing and where you’re drone is even in the brightest sunlight.
When flying the Mavic 3 Pro, DJI has made returning home a little easier as it now marks the home location with a small yellow H and you see it on the screen. I love this feature as it makes it so much easier to see where the drone is in relation to where you are and makes it easier to return home manually. The main Hasselblad camera produces amazing pictures and videos and the telephoto lens allows you to digital zoom from 7x up to 28x in Explore mode. When zoomed in on a pic @ the 28x the pictures are soft around the edges but are still of really good quality. The medium telephoto lens zoom capability from 3x to 7x, but has the highest resolution @ up to 48mp.
Throughout my years of using drones DJI has been the only brand I’ve ever used. The main reason is because when it comes down to it, they’re the leader in the consumer/prosumer market. The Mavic 3 Pro just cements that even more, with great battery life (up to 43 minutes), amazing distance and rock sold signal transmission with O3+ and picture and video quality that’s second to none.

The Velox Mini is our most compact wireless air vent mount yet! Designed exclusively for MagSafe compatible iPhones and cases, the Velox Mini delivers up to 7.5W of power. Just tap your phone against the mount face and powerful magnets will hold it in place in perfect alignment. Easily install the Velox Mini by sliding the prongs onto your vehicle’s air vent blade, where silicone grips prevent it from slipping. A versatile ball joint allows you to adjust the cradle for an ideal and safe viewing position while you drive. A series of ventilation holes constructed around the mount help to dissipate heat and maintain airflow. Now it’s easier than ever to keep your phone powered up on the go.

Great MagSafe charger
on October 1, 2023
Posted by: Linksys
Since the introduction of MagSafe charging, it’s been my preferred method to charge my iPhone. Until the iOttie Velox all my MagSafe chargers have been home ones or portable ones, this is the first car charger that I’ve used. I’ve tried some MagSafe mounts but didn’t like them as they weren’t that strong. The iOttie Velox thankfully has a nice strong magnet that has no problem holding my iPhone 14 Pro Max securely in place. The articulating mount makes it easy to point the phone where I want it. The prongs that attach to the air vent are nice and beefy and don’t pull off when pulling the phone off the charger.
The charger only charges @ 7.5 watts so it’s not a fast charger if that’s something you need. It comes with a USB-C car charger adapter or if your vehicle has USB-C plug you can just use the cord. The cord is built into the device itself and can’t be unplugged to use a shorter or longer cord and this would be my one knock. If the cord gets damaged the device becomes useless. For the price, it’s a great charger if you don’t need fast charging or if you don’t mind the non detectable cord.

Great mouse
on September 26, 2023
Posted by: Linksys
JLab is a brand I think of when I think of audio, specifically ear buds as I have a pair I use every day with my iPad. I’ve been using them for probably 4 year now and they’ve been great. So when I saw they make computer mice I was surprised as I had no idea! Just like my earbuds their mouse is a great alternative that is inexpensive but well made. The mouse is really lightweight and has an ergonomic shape that is more comfortable than the standard design mouse.
Unboxing the mouse I noticed the main buttons didn’t have that typical clicking sound and I didn’t like that at first. But, once I hooked it up to my computer and started using it I did not want to use a mouse that had the clicky buttons anymore. It makes it feel so much smoother. Probably my favorite button though is the JLab button that can quickly close or open whatever you’re doing. The mouse charges via USB-C and the JLab app allows you to customize the mouse. Connection is via Bluetooth or the usb dongle. JLab may not be a brand you think of when you need a mouse, but it should be as it’s that good.

Small portable power house
on September 23, 2023
Posted by: Linksys
I have one the quietest portable inverter generators on the market that I use for work and I’ll sometimes use when I’m camping. As quiet as it is, it still produces more noise than I want when camping . With the Jackery 300 plus I can get power and not have to worry about the noise or carbon monoxide. When we go camping sometimes I’ll bring a small 32 inch tv and maybe a console for the kids and this is the perfect thing for that. Doing a test running with just the 32 inch tv, the battery only lost 18% of its charge running the tv for one hour. While running the tv, the fan came on but it’s extremely quiet and I only knew it was running when I turned the tv off.
Having the solar panel for me is a must, especially if you’re doing any kind of tent camping where there’s no electricity. You get the ac cord, car adapter and solar panel for charging. Probably the biggest surprise for me is the app. The Jackery app allows you to control your ports, see the battery charge status, how much output you’re using and much more. And the app to product connectivity and functionality are first rate. In my usage they've connected every time and on the first try. I’ll still have a need for my inverter generator, but I’ll need it less often with this. The Jackery is super lightweight and portable and I don’t have to worry about the noise or carbon monoxide poisoning.

Solid gaming monitor
on September 22, 2023
Posted by: Linksys
I have this monitor hooked up to my CyberPower PC with an AMD Ryzen 7 7700 with an NVIDIA RTX 3070 and also have my Nintendo Switch hooked up to it and so far I’m loving it. This is my first curved monitor and I wasn’t sure how I’d like it but personally now prefer it to a flat monitor, at least for gaming. The monitor has more of a warm tone at least mine does, but still produces a vibrant picture. This is subjective as some people like a warm tone and some like more of a cool tone, I’m in the warm tone camp. The monitor has a blue light filter setting that can be switched on and off. To much exposure to blue light is said to cause headaches and eye strain as well as other things so it’s nice to have.
The monitor has one display port 1.2, two hdmi 2.0 ports and one USB-A 3.2. The 240hz refresh rate makes for smooth blur free gaming, especially when playing fast paced games like Valorant. Even though this is only a 1080 screen, it produces vibrant colors and deep blacks. If you’re looking for a good budget friendly monitor with a 240hz refresh rate and like curved screens, put this one on your list.

Bring the power of Google directly to your fingertips with the Google Pixel. A large 32GB of storage keep data secure, while unlimited cloud storage transfers data as needed, and it's completely automatic. The large 5-inch screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4 to ensure the Google Pixel remains scratch-free.

Phenomenal!
By Linksys from Richmond,VA
Googles first attempt at their own phone (software/ hardware developed by Google) is a solid homerun, even though it has a few shortcomings!
The hardware; at least to me is absolutely beautiful and on par with any of the top cellphone manufacturers out there. The software; is so smooth and buttery, there literally is no lag! It reminds me of iOS in the early days. The screen at 5 inches is a sweet spot, though I love bigger screens, it's a nice comprise especially if you want a big screen but dont have big hands.
If you are a died in the wool Android person, this phone is an excellent choice when considering a new phone. The price could be a shortcoming for some, and the lack of headphones baffles me especially when you're competing with the big manufacturers. 32 gb may not seem like a lot of storage these days, but Google gives you unlimited photo and video cloud storage for all taken on the Pixel.
Google should be very proud of this phone and anyone should put it on their short list when searching for a phone.

I understand and know there has been Nexus devices for years that run stock android. But all reports from plenty of sources ( The Verge, Andriod Central, Droid Life and so on) have indicated that the Pixel is the FIRST phone where Google designed the hardware and software to work together like Apple does with the iPhone. Even though HTC made the hardware.

Absolutely Love Them!
By Mg88
I got my first Bluetooth headphones 2 years ago with the Beats solo2 headset. As much as I liked them having the wire between the two could still be a pain at times depending on what you're doing. The new AirPods are phenomenal from the sound quality, ease of use and just the general quality. These are my new go to headphones, I love the fact I can just use one at a time if I want and the fact the case is a battery also so it charges them when you place them in the case. Worth every cent!

Until Apple fixes the issue with these disconnecting from calls while using a 6s and 6s plus avoid these. I'm on my second pair and they both would randomly disconnect while talking.

1080p or 720p ?

can u tell the differince
No, too me I cant tell the difference and I have watched bluray on both 720p and 1080p. Maybe if you had both sets sitting next to each other running the same bluray you could but. Especially on a tv 46inches or smaller to me 1080p is not worth the extra money.
