An awesome cd. I haven't been a Rise Against fan for very long but this is definitely a killer album. I love every single song on this disc and my favorite is definitely "Prayer of the Refugee". Rise Against has hooked me to their music with this cd.
The Sum 41 of the past was my favorite band. Songs such as Motivation, Fat Lip, In Too Deep, and The Bitter End (just to name a few) are definitely some of the best punk songs out there. This new album doesn't really compare to the ones of the past and the reason is quite obvious: the loss of their best guitarists David Baksh, who is known for many of the riffs in their songs. Apparently him and the rest of sum 41 had a falling and now he has his own band called Brown Brigade. Sum 41 in this album have a few songs that sound like songs made by Green Day or Yellowcard. this album is still good but not as great as the sum 41 of the past.
