The Simpsons

I have to admit the movie is pretty good but the story could have been better.By now you should know about Spider-pig,Harry Plopper whatever.Anyway after Homer fills up a pig silo he has in the backyard he takes the silo and dumps it in Springfield Lake.Later the EPA shows up and covers the whole town under a big bubble. And the Simpsons move to Alaska cause the whole town wants to kill Homer. But eventually he saves the town with the help of his son Bart.It took 20 years to come up with a 90 min movie Thanks FOX.Don't wait to late to make Family Guy and not the one about Stewie.
P.S. Good movie but could have been better.
What's great about it: Funny,
What's not so great: To much Homer

This is a good doc by MM like Fahrenheit 9/11.This movie is about certain people in America who can't afford good health care and takes it right to the source.I don't know if this is the kind of movie you would want to see over and over but make sure you do see it.Then pass it along to a friend. It's a wake up call, and it will open your eyes for those who don't know that America is Sick.
What's great about it: Truthful,Honest,Courageous

When they say from the writers of Bring it on that's what they mean.It has the same potential as Bring it on but instead of Cheerleading it's Gymnastics. And if you seen Bring it on it has the same to be funny as well as competitive. But if you want to see girls getting fliped and hit their heads on the crossbar then by all means go for it.
What's great about it: Funny, very well cordinated
What's not so great: Bring it on look-a-like Creepy

"This is Action"
on November 2, 2007

First and foremost this movie is not based on facts. There was no such thing as 300 soliders who faced many armys of thousands and won. It's based on the comic book by Frank Miller.Second this movie is fill with a lot of action packed battles that cure your blood lust. They fight for their freedom, and fight for their home of Sparta.Watch as our heroes slash, and gash, and cut another hole in thier enemies a%$,and laugh all the way to save Sparta.Remember "This is Sparta".
What's great about it: Lots of action
What's not so great: Not based on real event

Halloween: Resurrection is presented beautifully in super-clear 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen with crystal-clear English 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround that makes the great soundtrack pop. Also included are French 5.1 Surround, English captions and subtitles, and Spanish subtitles. Buena Vista jammed the disc with hoards of goodies that promise to keep viewers entertained for hours. Nothing too earth-shattering is present, but plenty of "film fluff" to satisfy the cinema sweet tooth. To start, there are nearly ten minutes of deleted scenes and three alternate endings presented in 2.35:1 non-anamorphic widescreen with optional commentary. Three schmaltzy featurettes and a stills gallery are provided. The "WebCam Special," a 40-minute film sequence of the Myers house, is a must-see. Lastly, there's a rather dull screen-specific audio commentary with director Rick Rosenthal and editor Robert Ferretti.

This is your run of the mill Halloween movie. It's about a bunch of college kids who spend the night in Michael Myers house. And one by one they start to die and that's basically it.Your safest bet is to get the original movie instead cause this one even with Busta Rhymes, and Tyra Banks can't save this movie.
What's great about it: N/A
What's not so great: bidding your time

Life imitates art when evil personified takes horrifying form in this chilling fantasy-horror thriller from acclaimed master of the macabre Wes Craven. Viewable in either 1.85:1 widescreen (enhanced for 16 x 9 TVs) or standard 1.33:1 full-screen pan-and-scan, this frightful feature is accompanied by a bone-chilling closed-captioned English Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack, an additional closed-captioned English Dolby Digital Surround track, and optional English subtitles. Journey into the mind of a frightening creative visionary with a director's audio commentary track, fear the "Jump to a Nightmare" scene navigation, and witness the terrifying theatrical trailer. DVD-ROM features include the ability to view the script while watching the film, a chance to test your nightmare knowledge with the "New Dream World Trivia Game," up-to-the-minute cast and crew info, trivia, and more.

Freddy is back
on October 27, 2007

The only problem with the movie is that it's taking Freddy from the movies and putting him in reality. Like he's was a real life child murder come to real life. That's was the only problem. When Wes craven was in the movie he was writing a new script for a new Freddy movie. Heather who was in the original film is the main character who was the star of this new movie. Beacuse Wes has been having bad dreams about Freddy. That's why he's writing a new movie.Maybe if we pray very hard he will make a new Freddy movie. But all-in-all it's a pretty good movie not like the first but give it a rental or watch it on t.v.
What's great about it: Welcome back the old Freddy
What's not so great: Could have been better

Clive Barker's highly underrated spook-house horror pic Candyman comes home to DVD in a packed Special Edition that's sure to get the juices flowing for fright fans everywhere. Updating the film's previous 1998 bare-bones release, Columbia TriStar pulls out the blood-red carpet for the flick this time, loading it with all the hot stuff you've come to expect. Presented with a 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen image, the picture complements the film well, though the lone Dolby Digital Surround leaves a lot to be desired, especially considering how other less-regarded horror fare come standard with 5.1 tracks at the time of this release (New Line's release of The Mangler, anyone?). Audio gripes aside, the rest of the disc is where the DVD really shines, starting off with a commentary from director Bernard Rose, writer Clive Barker, producer Alan Poul, and actors Virginia Madsen, Kasi Lemmons, and the Candyman himself, Tony Todd. While cut-and-paste tracks aren't usually the kind to write home about, this one delivers a rock-steady commentary out of many separate tracks that, while not exactly scene-specific, does have some fine information on the production and the extreme lengths the filmmakers went to during the shoot (including hypnotizing star Madsen for most of the film!). Those who haven't caught up with Clive Barker are also in for a big surprise -- it seems the years of cigar smoking have finally caught up with him in a big way, which you'll discover even more in his ten-minute "Raising Hell" featurette. Looking like he has rapidly aged, with a gravel-filled voice that now sounds like one of his horrific creations, Barker is quite jarring to listen to as well as to look at. "Raising Hell" features the scribe looking back at his career, with lengthy time dedicated to his early days in the theater leading up to his time behind the camera with Hellraiser, Nightbreed, and Lord of Illusions. The 24-minute "Sweets to the Sweet: The Candyman Mythos" featurette is also included and delves far more into change of settings from Liverpool in the book to Chicago's Cabrini Green and how the race angle of the hooked killer changed once Tony Todd took on the part. With a collection of the director's storyboards and a few pretty lame previews for other horror projects, this DVD comes to a close. While the original theatrical trailer would have been a nice inclusion, as would have a more decent audio mix, this Special Edition serves its purpose and certainly gives viewers more Candyman than they had before, which is a good thing, just as long as you're not talking about the dreadful sequels.

say his name 5 times in the mirror

This is a really good horror film from the 90's.It seems everyone knows the legend of candyman. You turn off the lights and look in the mirror and say his name five times he shows up with a hook for a hand and either kills you or cuts you depending on if you believe in him or not. So try it if you dare. Bloody Mary works just as well. HA HA HA.
Happy Halloween Slimdwiz

i downloaded music on my x box and now i want to get it transferred to a c.d.
No Way!!! You have to get it off computer because 360 does not burn music like computers do. Unless you have a ipod you can burn the music to that, and then to your computer, than burn the songs on to cd.Get it Good
