Canada isn't usually known for its metal, but 3 Inches of Blood makes up for it. As far as I'm concerned, the first album was a joke (quality wise), so this is thier first real album. And for a first album, this is fantastic. One of the really cool things about this album is the 'Upon a Boiling Sea' songs splitting up the album. 3 Inches is extremely unique in thier sound, and in an very good way. This album is a must buy for anyone with ears.
What's great about it: Extremely unique sound
What's not so great: Ninjas wont like this album much
For an older album, 'Haven' has some of the greatest songs ever to hit a CD. 'Not Built to Last', 'Wonders at Your Feet', and 'Fabric' really pull this album through. Perhaps a slightly slower album over all, but still very heavy, still very metal, and still very DT. Wish I would have bought this album years ago.
What's great about it: One of the greatest metal albums of all time
DT does it again. This album has some amazing tracks (ex: Monochromatic Stains, Treason Wall) and absolutly no filler. This album does sound alot like their previous album 'Haven', but thats not a bad thing at all. Quality is top notch and sounds great on a loud system. Excellent album from an excellent band.
